How are blunts wastefull?

I think blunts do waste a bit of weed but a few blunts a week won't hurt

I'll tell you a story that explains why I love blunts. My friend and I picked up a bag from a dealer went and rolled the blunt and started smoking it at his house, then we went to the dealer's house who we bought the weed off of still smoking the blunt sat there and smoked the blunt with our dealer until he was blazed then we finished it with another girl. Overall this blunt lasted 35 minutes and it ended up getting six people blazed. That is why I love blunts.

Blunts are very useful if you have a large group, say eight or nine people. Repacking bowls for all of those people can be tedious and personally I think the convenience is worth the lost weed.

Plus, sometimes its just a blunt kind of day.

blunts are wastefull and taste bad and get spit all over the end! also there is like a knifer that gets wasted after every hit. i dont see how smoking 0.5g in paper would make you get more stoned.....??????? in a bong you can hit that all in 3-4 hits as opposed to 15 tiny hits off a blunt. trust me the best way to get stoned is to inhale the most smoke in one hit not the more hits

I could rip .2 out of my bong and be pretty high for about 2 hours. Or i could roll .5-.7 in a blunt and be higher than I have been in my life for 3 hours. Plus blunts are the funnest way to smoke also.

To each his own. Me and my buddy smoke in his garage and we usually never smoke blunts in there. We usually do like 7-10 gravity bombs hits, smoke a bowl, or a bubbler. We do that in the summer when its warm. Now it's winter, which means blunts season. Drive and toke without having to steer with your knees because your lighting some kush. Blunts do take more weed and i usually smoke like 1 or two of them a day now that its winter. The only way i see them as being a waste is that after i burn one down i want to burn down another. Both are good. But different.

Haha, this is a typical misconception I hear often. The little time that the blunt is not being hit, there is far less smoking being wasted than say a bowl. Much more smoke comes from a bowl after being hit as opposed to the very minimal amount of paper and bud that comes off the end of a blunt. A bowl, you torch the majority of it at once, whereas with a blunt or joint, the only part that is burning is the part you're inhaling into your lungs. You might lose like a half a hit while someone isn't hitting it, but probably not even.
Trust me, I have a two foot tall RooR tree perc, a silver surfer vaporizer, and I smoke mad blunts. I can tell you that each and every way has its pros and cons and none really waste more than another.

Yeah, except that every well informed person knows that you conserve more of the THC by smoking a joint or blunt rather than a bong hit.

im gonna go out on a wing here and say i agree with hollowpoint, ive never looked at blunts as wasteful. infact a bowl when in the process of lighting is far more wasteful IMO, even with cornering and all that. ive got a bowl and i *Can* use the same amount in a blunt, its gonna be a small blunt, but it still burns longer, and if you want to play it fair, you can extingush a blunt and it wouldnt burn any same with an extingished bowl. im all for bowls but i definately dont think blunts are that wasteful.

I keep hearing people talk about how wasteful blunts are compared to bowls... But you gotta figure, when you smoke a bowl there's all that glass for the thc to stick to before it hits your lungs... When you smoke a blunt, it sticks to the paper, which is then smoked.

I can roll a .5 blunt that'll burn for 25-40 minutes (depending on weed, roll job), or pack a .5 bowl. That .5 blunt will last me way longer, and get me mad higher, than that .5 bowl any day of the week... Esp. if it's some good trees

I beg to differ. An average bowl can hold about .5 (give or take). I can roll a blunt with that same amount of weed, and it will burn mad long. If it's good tree, I can stub that blunt out 1/4-1/3 of the way through and be happily cheese-faced. Bowls don't get me nearly as stoned per same amount of weed as a blunt.

i always end up using a lot more weed when smoking blunts, and i dont get any higher

therefore i feel that blunts are wasteful, although i do enjoy smoking them

How do you roll .5 to last 25 minutes??? Some of the best blunt rollers I know can put a half eighth in a rello and it only lasts 15 tops??
