whats worse: smoking weed or polution?

people are always telling me that smoking weed is bad for you bla bla bla, but is it really any worse than living in Los Angelas? or any other poluted place? kinda off topic, but my room mate who doesnt smoke has been sick 4 times in the last 3 months or maybe just sick 1 long ass time, while me who smokes every day hasn't been sick once. is marijuana the real "healing of the nation and the food of the Gods?" just a little food for thought.

Good point man. I have had people tell me that they don't smoke because its "bad for you." My reply is usually, "Maybe, but so is eating cheeseburgers."
Not that that is a good reason to do either, but it usually makes people stop and think anyways. And the funny thing is that most of these friends have no problem with drinking and partying all the time.

Yeah, people are ignorant.

My friend Emma always trys to tell me it's unhealthy.... but she's:

Fat
A feminist (don't get me started on fucking feminists)
Addicted to chocolate
Has NEVER drunk, smoked cigs or weed....

Now... not that the feminist part has anything to do with it, but people always assume that their lifestyle is healthy, and they try to preach when people live differently.

But the worst is when a friend is sitting there smoking a cig and they try and tell you that you shouldn't smoke weed. Fucking double standards.

I agree somewhat. About getting sick though, I believe MJ lower's your immune system and that people who blaze do get sick more often or have a more severe illness.

Myself and my friend and his other 2 brothers are all sick with the same cold. One of the brother's (the one who smoke's the most) gave the cold to everyone else. He is the sickest right now, I'm the 2nd sickest, and the brother that smoke's occasionally is the 3rd sickest and the brother who has never smoked is already over the cold. Isn't this interesting.

What makes us sick the most is in the air. If you notice you are the sickest when there is alot of mosture or it's real dry.

My doctor says when the weather takes a hard change, every one seems to get sick..

Smoking does make sickness worse, It usually is not the cause!

Los Angeles air is pure sit and im breathing it everyday and everynight....I've been to places like Thailand and the Bahamas and places in Europe where the air is pure and the water is clear and everythings clean...Here everythings corrupted and dirty and used man...Its been pissing me off more and more every single day...whatever though, just some dumb shit.

Yeah people are brainwashed basically because all they can think on is what they've been told or taught. If you raise a kid thinking marijuana is evil then they'll believe that and teach the same thing to their kids, maybe.....God must have put weed on here as a gift or medicine because thats the only possible explanation..Maybe we were just supposed to smoke out of vaporizers instead of pipes/bongs/joints etc...That way it wouldnt be bad for us in any way really, I gotta admit smoking does fuck with my lungs even though I exercise daily, but your right...So does pollution

I am so sick of ppl saying everything is bad for you. Hell, if that is the case, living is bad for you. Most of the shit ppl do is bad for them, and that is all the fun stuff. I am going to live a fun life and not worry about all that bad shit, b/c it is great to live a "healthy" life, but what for? To die! We all die, have fun while you can, even if that includes pot, drinking, sex, breathing bad air(?), whatever... You only live once.

It's a question of whether you want to live longer or not. If you want to be reckless and live a shorter life, than go ahead. I think it's important that people know what harm's them whether that be pollution or weed.

bud is better than polution bucause it cures several things that could go wrong with me. I don't think breathing in LA, NYC or even in my semi-big city. San Antonio, TX.

more people in my family have died due to car wrecks than smoking weed. or by weed smokers driving

Alcohol
My family has only experienced true pain when someone in my family can buy legal beverages, drink however many they want, make a total ass of theirselves, hurt those loved ones around them and then wake up in the morning and just say, "sorry, i was drunk, i didn't know what i was doing". but if the same person smoked weed then there would be a problem. the weed smoker wouldn't cause any of the above

Food
Every style of food has pretty much been designated unhealthy in one way or the other. So is somebody doing more harm to themselves by going to a fast food joint, getting a greasy burger, fried potates full of salt and a soft drink full of caffiene. i know i need a joint after all that just to calm my stomach down hhehehe or a cig.

you can go on and on ...
the law is what non-smokers can always go back to. so i guess its time to change the law... damn, my J went out again... gotta go
