| Glass Art: Animal Pipes
OK in honor of Supreme Bean's awesome new elephant piece; and per his request to see more pictures of animal pipes here they are: First up is Babar the Elephant- the companion piece to my dragon Smaug. It was made by the same guy but I found it in a city about an hour away. It was the last I've seen like it for years now. It's an awesome kif pipe, even though it has a huge bowl on it. It does a really cool smoke trick when you smoke kif out of it when it's clean. I have to get a video camera to show you what I mean one day. ![]() ![]() Next I'll put the original picture of Smaug from my sig: ![]() Aaaaaand now one of the coolest yet- Feesh!!! (LOL it's my brother's pipe but I picked it out and gave it to him for Christmas- and it's been at my house for about 6 months now) ![]() ![]() ![]() I'll include some thumbnail images so the page doesn't take forever to load (check out the red eyes!) And now here are some slides that are animal pieces- First up is one of my favorite slides, (hookah slide) Chameleon the lizard. I had the carb custom blown into it. ![]() ![]() And last but not least we have Donatello, the turtle slide. I love this piece. ![]() ![]() ![]() That's it for now- but I love collecting so there should be more when a cool one comes out. Hope you guys enjoy the thread! I bought them all from local headshops over the years- I wish I could blow glass though... Remember if anyone has an animal pipe of some kind- feel free to post it here! Last edited by 420TheCollector; 07-20-2006 at 08:08 PM. |

Well I hope Supreme Bean sees this thread and RMJL too, because I saw that she loved elephants. I've always been fond of rare glass pipes, more so than expensive pieces I'll tell you that. Anybody can be impressed by the expensiveness of a piece- But it's a lot harder to find something that someone likes personally, for it's artistic nature. |
