Home made Captain Morgan bottle bong

Had a few empty handles lying around, so I figured to make a bong out of one

Me, being the cheap bastard that I am, decided to save the $$ and not use the right kind of drill bit to drill through the glass. I went slow though, and constantly was putting water over it and using oil to cool off / lubricate the drill bit (someone, forget who, said thats a good way to save the drill bit and to make drilling hard shit easier... guess it cools it off too). Drilled almost completly through, then the bottle broke. No big deal, throw away the broken glass and try again.... this time it worked perfectly!
Scraped the paper lables off (wanted to keep them but all the oil and water and heat and shit destroyed them), and used some packaging tape to kinda reenforce the area around the hole (it didnt look 10000% perfect, didnt wanna risk breaking it)
Used RTV silicone to hold the tube from a pen in place
once it dried, took apart my spark plug pipe (they have them on here, pretty nifty) and used it as the bowl.
Smoked with a few friends tonight.... the weed sucked IMO, but the bong worked good
Its not perfect but its pretty cool for something I just did when I was bored IMO

Pretty sweet. Althought if I was gonna take the time and effort to drill through glass with a normal drill bit, I woulda at least made the homemade a keeper.. Get a real downstem ect but its still sweet

dude you probably shouldnt use tape that will heat up...your gonna get some nasty fumes from that...

looks pretty pimp man. looks pretty easily upgradeable if you wanted to go all glass later on...

i would make sure that after blazing a couple bowls that the plastic under the bowl doesnt get hot...if it gets above warm id probably be cautious. Hopefully the spark plug/socket thing was clean, too?

yeah the mouth piece on those handles are pretty sick for a bong
