When I met Christopher Walken In Vegas

Well, this is kind of long too , but just as good nonetheless.

Late last summer my cousin and I were staying in Las Vegas with my Aunt and uncle (his mom and dad). Before we had even arrived we had worked out a plan to score some bud and stay stoned the entire time while in Vegas. We had concluded that we would ask street vendors and valets if they had any ideas on where to get some prime bud, which soon would turn out to be a perfect plan.

We arrived at about 7:00 pm and decided to go explore the strip, all the while looking for some bud. We were soon directed by a valet at the Bellagio to ask one of the stripper card vendors that line the streets at all times of the day. We didn't even have to look for these guys as they were everywhere.

We walked up to an older mexican (yes he was from mexico) and subtley asked if he had any weed. The guy look confused, so I said again "La marijuana....sinsemilla??". With that the senior's face contorted into this big toothless smile and he taps a small, maybe 9 year old boy on the shoulder and whispers something.

The boy runs over to a bush across the street and comes back with a large tinfoil ball and a baggie. As the boy returns the old man puts up a "4" with his fingers and then a "0" and we pay him $40 for the sack. Now, by this point I was worried about quality, I just wanted to get stoned, as did my cousin. We say thank you and quickly walk away (I forgot to mention that this is taking place right in the middle of a very busy sidewalk with people constantly passing by....)

We go into the Bellagio restrooms and look at the bud, which when I remove the tinfoil, smacks my face with the pungent armoma of fruity dank. It is 3 lime green, bright orange haired, mid size nugs. I almost pass out from the beauty....We quickly returned to our room at the Bellagio and go out onto the balcony to smoke a couple joints.

Well we made 3 joints.....but we only finished one....this was probably some of the best bud I have ever had. It was definatley homegrown as it had no shipping damage and it tasted as fresh as ever. The high was quick and and pulsating; almost narcotic like, but still made you want to do stuff and think.

We made our way through the casino floor and the lobby (which was a symphony of sounds I might add) and made our way outside to the strip. Once outside we could only gaze and gasp at the awesome beauty of the dazzling marquee lights that floated above us. Nothing can descibe the beauty of Vegas when your really really stoned.

By this point we were starving and wanted to try our hand at a vegas feast. We got on the bus and rode in down to the excalibur which we had heard was having a great viking feast that night. We did not expect what was coming...

At the excalibur my cousin gave some guy some money and we were seated at a large round tabe with a very large japanese family. The family didn't speak english very well, so we could talk about being stoned all we wanted and it was just fine...in fact the asian family seemed to like anything we had to say...

10 minutes later 5 waiters brought out large platters filled with potatoes, corn, whole geese (yes....I said geese, not chicken...geese) and the single serving size legs of lamb....I was in ectacy.

We chowed down for about 30 min until our bodies told us to quit and we made our way out of the excalibur (not forgetting to bow to oriental family). We decided to take in the lights and sounds for a while, but after about an hour it seemed like a good time to smoke again. We found a nice parking garage and toked up another joint.

We were now set for buisness and continued back to the Bellagio where we had tickets to see "O" (which if you don't know is a Cirque De Soleil show centered entirley around water.....yes it is as good as it sounds). Our parents had gone to see another show and it was just us, thank the lord...

We took our seats, which were around the center, mid way up. After about 15 min the room got dark and the show began.....now the show is a whole other story, but I will say that I had to restrain my cousin from trying to hop over his seat to touch the preformers (it was that good...)

The show had been long and we were sobering up, so we decided to smoke again. We went to another parking garage and toked up, having to duck twice as cars were coming through.

We wanted to see the palms so we took a bus and arrived quickly. The palms seemed extra busy and we were content with it all. As we walked inside we saw one of those red carpet things with the red carpet and the fake sponcer covered wall behind the velvet ropes. We thought it would be cool to get pictures of each other on the red carpet so we walked over there and as soon as we got close a whole bunch of paparazzi popped out of nowhere pushed us up against the velvet ropes.

Suddenly, from the right side of the room, we see Dennis hopper walk up to the red carpet. At this time im surrounded by $1000 nikon cameras and decided I too want a picture of dennis hopper, so i tell my cousin to pull out his disposable kodiak and take a picture. My cousin is like "I want him to look at the camera", so thinking quickly I yell out "hey easy rider!" as Mr. Hopper is walking by, and sure enough he looks straight at my counsins camera.

With the picture taken we wait to see who else comes. We soon see morpheus (Lawrence Fhburne, which by the way, really tripped me out) and too top it all off, the man, Christopher Walken....

At this point he is shaking peopls hands as he walks by so I, understandably put out my hand as he is walking by and say "Whats up The Continental" (a character he played on SNL). He shakes my hand and looks at me for a second. Then he does the thing where he licks his lips quickly and smirks with the little eye twitch....it was so fucking cool...I also might mention that I was still fully full on stoned and my eyes were like strawberries . He no doubt knew that I was high as a bird, but it was still cool as shit to see the Christopher walken facial expressions live. Oh yeah, all this time my cousin is cracking up laughing to the poinbt of crying.....

We soon leave and spend the rest of our days stoned in Vegas for a week. There are many more vegas stories, but that is only one day and im tired of typing.
