In the fullness of time, when the dust settles and reason reigns, this cannabis prohibition age will be referred to as, 'The War on Flowers.'
It will be remembered as a time of irrationality; a time when countries facing massive financial uncertainty chose to piss away billions by attacking their own citizens -- good, descent, and often severely ill people.
Tomorrow’s world will wonder how anybody could justify this over a flower, non-chemically addictive and scientifically proven to be beneficial to millions.
IMO, the most aggravating point about this is how blind the laws are. Medicinal marijuana is cultivated to have high levels of CBD, not necessarily THC.
But how can we expect the government to draw a distinction over that point, when it struggles to even recognize the distinction between non-THC potent commercial cannabis and marijuana?
