White Lighter Bad Luck??? - Page 2

I somehow lost a white lighter while on a run back in some trails. I was real blazed and didn't think I'd ever find it. On my back I found it sitting right where I was smoking (I could have sworn I put it in my pocket, because I remember thinking to myself "oh yeah dont forget about the lighter"). So, in my case it brought me good luck. But, maybe only to screw me over in the long run. Although, I'm with the other guy who doesn't believe in nonsensual myths such as the color of a lighter determining your luck.

I use lighters of all colors all the time.

But at the same time it's kind of fun to believe in this silly stuff sometimes. Plus it gives you something light hearted to talk about if you ever are passing around a white lighter.

You do realize that the fear of white lighters is actually a realization of the resin staining left from the bowl upon the light exterior of the lighter, correct?

It's 'unlucky' because police officers have an easier time identifying you as a stoner.
It's not 'unlucky' because it somehow effects the events of your trip.

Here in NC red lighters are considered bad luck but i've never heard about white lighters being bad luck.

I always buy hot pink lighters. The stoners I smoke with have a bad habit of swiping lighters. I've done it while stoned too. They never pocket a hot pink.

3 stories for ya'll

my good buds had bought a white lighter along with a brand new bubbler, one of them's first piece. the same day they had just smoked outside at a park. When getting back in the car, the bubbler fell out of his pocket and shattered. bummer.

i emissions tested vehicles for a while and once i saw a white lighter in the cup holder inside this lady's really clean and tidy car. it stuck out against the black plastic of the cub holder like a big omen! i said lady, you know white lighters are bad luck, right? she says never heard of it. She failed the test, only 3% of cars of her year that come in fail.

the first time i ever smoked with a white lighter, i dropped my nug jar at a gas station getting out of the car, the glass shattered, i had to pick up my weed really embarassingly while strangers watched.

when a deer sees a hunter shoot other deer, that deer is going to learn to stay away from humans, especially the 3rd time. just sayin' is all

damn that sucks man, i dont use white lighters because of the what if, you know? its easy enough to not use a white lighter so i dont, therefor if anything bad happens i cant blame it on the lighter

I prefer white lighters, then I can see how much fluid is still left in it, when it gets low. I always try and buy a white one, if I cannot get white, it is orange. Someting so I can see though it.

I think superstition only happens to those who believe in it. I didn't use to believe in it then one day someone wore off on me. Little things happen in ways that make you think it has to do with the superstition but it's probably just coincidence.

I picked one up today, and drew on it with permanent marker after a blaze without realizing it will just rub off eventually probably.
