My First time...

Hey, Peon John here.

I'm new to the forums and haven't been long smoking pot. I started about six months ago and I only avg about two joints a week these days.

I just thought I would share my first exp with smoking herb for those that may give a shit. I have to tell you it was some wierd shit.

I smoked recreationally before this from time to time, but would only take a small hit here and there with some buddies and wouldn't even really inhale that much. Yeah I know I'm a pussy.

I became more curious about it and a buddy of mine set me up with a dime bag. He gave me an old roller that he had lying around and a couple of papers.

I got home, rolled it up, and made it my intention to smoke the joint as hard and quick as I could.

So I was taking drags on this joint that would make a chainsmoker proud, right? I mean I was sucking away on this thing.

I had gotten it down about 3 quarters of the way when it all of a sudden hit me like a ton of bricks. My mind started racing like 90 to nothing about past memories and dumb ass thoughts. At the same time, It was as if my body was shutting down. I lost control over it. I couldn't even bring the joint to my lips anymore.

I was sitting outside on some rock steps which were on a concrete pad. I remember dropping the joint and putting my arms on my knees and resting my head in my hands and I was staring down at the concrete slab. I was feeling like I had taken a backseat to my mind and was letting all these thoughts and memories come crashing together into one big jumble of nonsense. Yet at the same time I started making out funny shapes in the concrete which would outline themselves in some bright orange trails of some kind.

Minutes later I became sick to my stomach. I crawled down onto the cement and laid down on my back at the edge of the pad. I remember just turning my head to the side and puking down onto the ground below.

I'm not sure how long I had laid there before my stomach had settled, but I eventually got up, went inside, got undressed, and went to bed. I remember laying in bed and getting these shakes or jerks in my body. I managed to fall asleep after a while.

I've taken my lesson and learned it well. I've never tried to overdo it like that again. I'm sure it wouldn't even have bothered some of you, but I was new to it at the time. I guess not everyone's first time is pleasurable. My buddy considers the stuff he gets strong or what he refers to as "the fire". When I get it from him and open the baggie it has a tendency to smell the whole room up. Hell, it might even be weak compared to what some of you get.

Anyway, I just thought I would share my first exp with you people. Get the embarrassing shit out of the way. Good to be here at the forums.

I can kind of remember my first time.... Well the first time i really got high anyways. I smoked like 5 bowls of this crappy stuff and I just felt like I was flying. It was the coolest thing ever. Then a couple days later I had some if this super dank stuff. I felt like I was spinning super fast and I threw up all over. It was pretty sweet though.

hey man, i remember when i first started smokin, i over did myself and felt so sick.


where you went wrong was you were rushing yourself... just take the smoke in nice and slow, take your time, and enjoy the long moment of smoking... your high will be much more relaxed.



if ya can, get your hands on some glass, when ya smoke by yourself, you dont have to fill the bowl all the way, just put a small pinch in there, if ya feel ya need more after that first bowl... wait a few mins, pack another pinch in there..

Welcome!!! I can totally see why you take it easy! If I puked my very first time I would do the same thing as you! And you're not a pussy. Everyone is just different. Hopefully being around here will help in you in ways you never knew possible! hehe. I'll tell you it has opened my eyes to a lot of interesting/fun ideas.

well, if you open the bag and a whole rooms smells up it has to be some fire shit. A whole joint your first time gettin really stoned and by yourself is a little much. You'd probably enjoy it 100x better if you smoked one bowl then gradually went up. Once you have been smoking for a while you arent able to ever get that high again no matter what(at least I cant).

dude Tight story man, idk though, if my first time involved all that i prolly wouldnt be smoking to this day haha. But your story of throwing up like that reminded me of somen i did a few months ago well worth telling i guess haha. Not to invade your thread but im in the mood to type haha. BUt well When i was a junior i transferred to a different highschool(Covington Catholic transffered to Ryle High) Well when i transfered from my catholic school i made some "stoner" friends who thought iw as a stoner for some reason ahha, i say random things, do random things, and do what i want when i want and they think its hilarious lol. lol well since i transfered i made a TON of new friends and started smoking wtih them like mid-junior year and ig ot really haeavy into smoking. i kept some friends from cch, but not many except my best friend brian haha who will always be my best friend.
Well one day a kid called me from cch and said he heard i was a big stoner and every once in a while i would sell some bud. lol so we go over to this kids house, Me, brian, and these hott two chicks. i pull in and i sell him a fat quarter for 60 bucks...BUT this kid was already drinking and the two girls were like hey give me 10 bucks and so on so forth, and after about 5 mins of tlaking he ended up forking over another 20 bucks for no reason hahaha. i didnt ask for it....ok well he asked me to roll him an L so i kleft and came back to roll it..i rolled it and we started chieffing on it and he had never had a shotgun before(supposed to be one of the bigger stoners in northern kentucky...ahah i laugh at him now) lol and i blew him idk...2 or 3 shotties to the ehad and he fell on the ground next to a hookah looked at me and tears were comin outta his eyes and everyone at this party(liek 15 people) are staring at him..and he just throws up all over the ground next to him laying there hahahah....i wonder if this is how u felt haha. Wow good times..good times...sorry for the ramble though lol

Yeah, I've definitely learned to mellow out with the smoking. I'll roll a joint now and only take a few hits off it and extinguish it for later.

I have one of those Irobot Roombas, the little robot vacuum cleaners, and it is awesome as hell to get high and watch it run around the room cleaning my house.

I ordered a waterbong from grasscity. I believe it will pay off better to just smoke a bowl here and there instead of rolling joints. I've never smoked out of a bong, but I hear it is much better.

EDIT: I was gonna say that I had that bad trip around six months ago when I first started. Luckily I was by myself and noone got to see me throwup. I honestly thought I was never gonna come down from that high. Freaked me out.

hehe. I really like having different pieces. I think the variety of each piece gives me a different high. I love it. My favorite are joints, there's just something about smoking a j and exhaling through my nose that just sweeps me away.

I think you are going to love the bong. You can do all kinds of cool shit with it. Put some flavored water (I prefer Aquafina flavored waters.) or ice water in them... It is a good time. I keep a bottle of water in the fridge just for my bongs. I like the water chilled!!!

Also if you need some tips about smoking out of your bong, please let us know. The thing that is sticking out in my head the most right now is to make sure to not overfill the bong. You want to just cover up the female piece that is down in body of the bong. If there's too much water you can pull some through when you are taking a hit. It doesn't hurt you or anything of that nature, it just disrupts a perfect smoking experience.

oh yes man, they are great. you will learn to love the bong and soon forget about the papers..


btw, just curious, you mentioned you use a rolling machine, have you learned how to hand roll a joint yet? its tricky at first, but once you do it a few times, its natual. Also its good to know for those times away from home, when ya dont have your machine on hand, you wont be shit outta luck

Nah, sad to say, I still can't roll a joint. I've become a little dependant on the roller. I have tried several times here and there to roll with my fingers. It ends up real fragile and looks retarded. The last one I did I screwed up twisting it somehow and it looked like a torch of some kind that I would use to search a dark cave with.

What happened my first time......

Well short story shorter I was already compeltly hammered, took a hit out of a bowl (Perfectly might I add! I have seen people smoke before, and inhaling wasn't a big deal cause im always with these guys before when they smoked). Well it also had some pineapple hash mixed in there also (Yes!) and about 5 more minutes of compeltly memory loss later and I passed out.

(Oh and I thought I was falling off the coach ovr and over, having ind of those things when you go to sleep and like wake up cause you felt like you were falling, yeah I had those while just high, and semi passed out.)

my only tip i could give you is try big papers... 1.5, or bigger

i personally tried learning how to roll on 1.25's and gave up, thought id never learn how to roll myself a joint, then i tried 1.5's and was golden


just dont give up man, if iwere you, id just go buy a pack of papers, get some bud, and roll by hand... lick and seal... then rip that bitch open and do it again.... and again... and again..

until you know you got it down

and for the record, hand rolled > machine ...you can enjoy it more knowin love went into makin it
