Well, to make a long story short, the 8-ball of yay that me and my boy picked up was cut hella bad and had a hole in the bag it came in. Anyway, we were stopped to do lines and move to a new baggie, and it took a little while because it was cut so bad it was in 1 big rock that actually clattered when it dropped onto the tray. Since it took so long, of course, we had to have a cop pull up behind us. Once they found the pipe in the passenger's pocket, I knew it was over.

I spent the night in lock-up and I have a court date in 6 days for Felony Possession of a Controlled substance (for the coke), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (for my STEAMROLLER that was in the trunk). I'm so glad that I didn't have my weed with me (the blunts that I had were already smoked); at least now I can relax a little bit while I figure out what to do.

On the plus side, I had just got my hair cut so my mug shot is good-looking, and when the cops turned my car upside down, they managed to leave me a line's worth of powder (which, by the way, I'm not gonna take) in the center console and they found my long-lost glass screen so I won't have to buy a new one.

On the occassions where I do coke I am soo paranoid when driving. Anytime I see a cop my butt puckers up. I don't know what kind of charges you can get with coke because I have only been charged with weed. How come you let the cop search your car if there was no evidence? Where were you parked where a cop just randomly pulls up behind you? Man if I were you, I would have blew that coke all around the car so there was no evidence. Thats just my two sense.

The cops had found a pipe in my friend's pocket, and they told me they had probable cause because I was parked on city property or something (it's some water pumping station nestled in a neighborhood in the suburbs). Once they told me they had probable cause, I admitted to everything that was in the car, but my rights had not been read to me. So, the lawyer I talked to today said there is a chance that everything found in the car search could be dismissed because #1 - They didn't have probable cause because of where the car was parked, and #2 - My admission of coke in the car can't be construed as probable cause if my Miranda Rights were violated.

Anyway, the shit was cut so bad I couldn't blow it away, it really was rocky. Plus most of it was already in 2 bags, I had some loose on the scale as well.

Okay, I went to court for the plea hearing today, only to ask for a continuance because my attorney couldn't be there. Anyway, I was told to be there at 10 AM. At 1 PM, they finally called me in, and I learned that I was being charged with 4 things:

Possession of a Controlled Substance: Cocaine
Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance: Marijuana (dunno where this BS charge came from, I wasn't even high at the time
Possession of Marijuana: Dunno where this one came from, either. I had no weed with me.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia: Digital scale, pen tube for snorting, and the Glass bong as they call it, which was actually my beautiful steamroller. When I get off probation, I plan on making a road trip to Venice Beach to buy a replacement steamroller.

If they found a pipe on the passenger I'm pretty sure it's not probable cause to search your car...

Don't cop to shit don't take shit just don't show disrespect because they had no right to search your car or the trunk without consent even if the passenger had para on them provided nothing was in plain view
