Well me and my friend recently got this realy really cool chick to start smoking wiht us.

Now I was planning on smoking with her and this other chick on saturday, but then all of a sudden she says she can't smoke anymore. EVER AGAIN. It's all because her boyfriend is threatening to tell her dad she smokes if she keeps doing it.

Now a bit history about them:
They've been going out for 9 months now, and the boyfriend says he USED to smoke, but I find this hard to believe if he's so against it. He found out she's done it before and told her the he's not ALLOWING her to smoke. Also he's pretty emo. He said to us one time "Yeah I tried to kill myself. I put a gun to my head, but when I pulled the trigger I missed." What the fuck? How do you miss your OWN HEAD?

I don't know him and me were real good friends over the summer but he's just kind of starting to sound like an asshole.

I think I'm going to talk to him and Beth, try to tell him to back off. And that she can do what she wants.

Now if he does tell her dad, I'm going to go off the fucking walls on him. Not only did we lose a great smoking buddy, but it was because some emo kid told on her, because he wanted to control her.

What would you do?

see, this can be kinda sketchy if you say anything to her BF. She might not appreciate it and it could backfire.

unless he's hurting her there's not really much you can do but be there for her until she makes her own decision. but man, it totally sucks to see a friend stuck with an asshole.

Yeah Fuck this guy take it right to his face and show him whos boss oh i put a gun to my head once i wanted to die i pulled the trigger and missed wow thats some bullshit if ive ever heard it, i think he's just saying that stuff to get some attention, yeah but anyway dude you gotta talk to her and tell her that she cant let him be like this ya know and that its not cool to have someone like that running her life for her but if shes happy well then dude theres not to much that you can do, but hopefully its not liek that and you can get her to start puffin again man good luck

We talked, and she said she wants to still go out, but she's not going to quit just because of he wants her too. So he broke up with her.

I talked to him right after they broke up, and I could tell he was pretty pissed. He kept saying "I will not date a smoker Drew." So I'm pretty sure he never smoked. Yea she cried but it wasn't her fault, he just wouldn't bend for her. Hmm I think it may of been the right thing.
