smoking and usage

Okay, I have a problem. I work in a warehouse about 1 hour away. It takes soooo long with traffic man. I have to wake up at 5 in the morning to go there and I get paid $12 cash. The thing is every time I wake up I feel like shit and dont want to go. Like right now, I am suppose to be on my way already but instead I came on here to bullshit. I hate that job. I want to quit so bad but I need another job to pay the bills. Oh forgot to mention that its one of my moms warehouses, so I cant dick around with it. I just dont know what to do.
Every time I feel like just chillen with my sweet sweet mary jane, and waiting for college to start up.

Well I dont know what im tryin to get out but THIS FUCKIN SUCKS..........why cant I just be a fuckin movie star or some shit and make millions and millions of dollars.

At the risk of sounding harsh...BUCK UP! When you allow mary jane to be your excuse for not accomplishing your neccessary tasks in life, it gives all who like to partake a bad name. Playing into the typical lazy stoner stereotypes. Rise above it. OR do as my mother says "Shit or get off the pot. Handle your business." Besides as a student who is in a similar situation I know that school starts up real soon, so finish it out and you'll be glad you did.

man 12 dollars and hour is pretty good, i get payed a little over half that...from the sounds of it though you only got another month to go then your done so just stick through it

Seriously. When you wake up in the morning and would rather lay around smoking pot than go to work you've got a problem. Don't smoke your ambition away and you should never feel like you need MJ to get through the day.

man you just sound like the typical "lazy stoner" its not that bad, i had to get up at 4:45 AM today to be to work by 5:30 bussing tables at a breakfast place. I worked an 7 hour shift and just got home. I dont even make 12$ an hour and i still dont complain.

what helps in the morning is a wake and bake, i blaze a small bowl in the shower and it snaps me out of the groggy mood. If you got a long drive too man bring some bowls to smoke. Who cares if its early, its noon somewhere.

12 bucks an hour thats sweet dude, the only problem I would have with it is the hour drive. what do you do in the warehouse? I just started this new job I do internet tech support so I sit at a computer all day and tell ppl who just got an account with one of our companies how to setup there internet and its so easy, i just get online all day and cruise the city while bullshitting with ppl on the phone. I started out at 8 but if i stay long enough to get promoted itll be 9-10.

My brother is a cook in a tiny tiny restuarant with no a/c and just the other day it was the buisest its ever been and it was just him and a guy and the guy just left so it was him all alone, cooking on a grill in 110 degree weather alone without a/c and he got so mad he kicked something and broke his toe.. So he worked in 130 degrees basically, alone, busiest day, broken toe.

I wouldn't complain if I was you man

i feel no reason to add anything to this thread because everyone else has already whooped this dude's ass. when people say "i can't wait to get to college and get a better job...no more of this part-time minimum wage bullshit." if you can't get the motivation to do a good job at what you start out doing, even if it's for dirt work...college won't be any easier for you. you just gotta do what you can and enjoy life.

also, i work in the kitchen as well and that shit does get hot. hot and fast. always moving. pf chang's is the first restaurant i started at and i'm still there now so i can't compare it to any other restaurant. but compared to my other jobs it's hot and fast as fuck back there. it's fun though. and it's a start to what i'm planning on...a culinary career.

point is...nobody like's a complainer.
