Well, this weekend I went on a 3 day river trip in wyoming, only i didnt have the chance to re-up, and i personally didnt feel comfertable bringing pot on a trip with my parents. Well, for the whole 3 days I was on the trip I didnt smoke, which i thought would bother me alot, being a every day smoker for the past 5 months. But it really didnt, it changed my whole view on my prior smoking, motivating me to cut down. It was more of a test, showing myself I didnt have to rely on pot to have a great time. Also, before, my tolerance was ridiculous, and when I came back, my good friends greeted me with their brand new glass on glass 3 footer. Needless to say after the 3 day break smoking out of that bong fucked me up, to a point I hadnt been in a while.

Tolerance breaks are the shit.

I'm thinking about going sober this week after tonight until Saturday. I have buds, but I figure I will save them until Saturday when I light off a shit-ton of fireworks.

yeaaaaaaaaa, fireworks are the shit. i like lightin em off my ciggs, lol

im gettin a 2 bricks of waterproof firecrackers and 2 gross's of bottle rockets tommorow. Thing is here in Colorado those fireworks are illegal, but I live about 20 minutes away from Wyoming, where those fireworks arent illegal, so its perfect.

You guys are lucky, the fuckers banned fireworks in my town starting this year. Lotsa local charities and sportss clubs and stuff are mad as hell too...Bastards at the government

Thats good that you can motivate yourself to quit. Ive been an every day smoker for about the same as you, and Ive been thinking about quitting for a while. After riding dirtbikes last weekend though I realized I realy DO need to cut down if Im gonna be riding all summer

Taking a day off once a week is enough for me. Sometimes only once every couple weeks. Being lucid is almost like it's own trip, so it's not bad to stop for a day.

Im on a break at the moment too until the summer hols (another 3 weeks or so for me). Ive been going 4 days so far, so by the end of it i should be baked just like the first time over again... cant wait

Smoking everyday for the same amount of time Im eager to quit for a day or two then toke up again...
