ok, so today starts off like any other, my mom told me at about 11 this morning to wake up. fuck that, i was tired, so i decided to tell her i was gonna get up and go back to sleep, she wont know, she just went upstairs. about an hour later she see's that im still sleeping and yells at me to get up, and to go get my chores done blah blah blah the usual shit, but i can tell i pissed her off. she is like a machine, once she starts yelling, it takes an act of god to get her to shut up, and she just rants and pisses and moans about shit you I did or didnt do in the past, it gets old in about 2 seconds. I do my shit, and me and my brother have to go clean the garage. so i go out there, were workin, talkin, all the usual shit. my little sister came and told me i had a phonecall, so i go inside, and its my dad. heres how the convo went:


Dad: What did mom find in your closet
Me: What?
Dad: She found a bong, a homemade one
Me: Oh that, yea, what about it
Dad: If I find one more thing like that Im taking your car keys
Me: What?

Then, my mom, was listening to us talk the whole time

Mom: What about the lighter and how it smelled like smoke?
Me: What about the lighter, is it illegal for me to own one or somthing?

SLAM!
my mom slammed the phone down, hung up, but my dad thought that I had hung up, he then goes

Dad: There, is that good enough
Me: Yea, that will do, wanna talk to mom?

HA, he was just yelling at me because my mom told him too, how fucking funny is that. I like how my dad knows i smoke, and doesnt make a big deal out of it, but my mom tries to expose me, thinking ill be in trouble with him.



i cant find my bong now, it was nice too, a smaller nalgene bottle with a slide and nice bowl, it sucks, it was PERFECT, ripped nice, cleared nice, airtight, made nice, i got comments on how the bong looked too nice to be homemade.

Dude, u sound like ur still in high school, or just got out... Either way man, u got some growing up to do.. I aint being mean, I used to be the same way when I was a teenager.. And I aint just talking about the pot either.. U prolly give ur mom shit every morning, when she tries to wake u?? And when she asks u to do things, she's prolly asking u for a week or so, b4 it gets done?? Been there, dont that man, LoL... Anyway, dont take it in a negative way, I'm just telling u like it is.. I'm 23 years old and still live w/ the old lady... I choose to live there now, cuz she needs the help around the house and w/ my grandparents and shit... But when I was 18, She knew I smoked, and she didnt care.. She told me she didnt care, cuz I still respected her and what not... So see how it goes for u man, give that one a try, if ur dad knows and is cool, then just start doing more shit round the house... She'sll realize that u dont let it get in the way of shit, and will prolly lay off ur ass a lot more...

i was on the understanding that my parents were chill with it, i mean, they have known for a while know, its nothing new, and as ive said before many times, they smoke too. i never had to even WORRY about my bong being taken, it just never crossed my mind, the reason behind this is my parents KNOW how much i contribute to the house, and for that, i have it EASY, im 18, live at home, i dont pay rent, my parents GAVE me my car, PAY for my insurance every month, and cover my gas. i wouldnt have any of that if i didnt bust my ass at home. but yes, there was a time, and there still are times i am a shithead, like today, nobodys perfect.



it does sound bad now that i read it, lol, i just do shit like that to piss her off, i realize its bad, but its like a battle, lol, she got my ass back (kind of) for gettin her pissed, and its MY fault because i know how she can be, but its cool now, all is well with the rents. this happened about 12 this morning and its 9:30, and im lookin back on it laughing, because im stoned (out of the bong that was taken) my mom had it in there room, and my dad gave it back when he got home from work. funny thing is he told me it was "a cool little dealy"

i forgot to mention earlier, she took the bong, but the nug that was on the same shelf was untouched

yea that is how my mom is she starts fights with me just to do it even if it doesnt even make sense she will even complain about stuff from last summer now i just try to ignor most of it so that i dont fight with her but she keeps trying and i have been caught by her like 3 times so she probably knows that i skoke but my dad is cool and he pretty much knows cause i go there after a party smelling of beer and weed and just go lay in my bed and listen to music and he doesnt care he told me that i better not do anyting really bad like meth or heroin or anyting like that

moms' used to be the say way with me. she'd stop yelling when she ran out of complaint and think some up real quick and yell some more again as im walking out or something. i did deserve it most of the time though.

My mom used to do the same thing (she probably still does, my poor, poor dad :P ) it's not just bitching, though, you ask her a question like 'what time is it", and she'll spend the next 20 minutes explaining daylight savings time, the mayan calander, and god-knows-what... I actually walk away, do stuff, go to the bathroom, make a sandwich, go back and she's still talking to herself. it's funny now that I don't live with her, though
