My first clean day in months....

So i part ran out and part decided to go on a tolerance break to get my tolerance back down. Been workiing out, drinking water and whatnot. But its weird, this whole week at school as been crazy...because i never realized what goes on when i'm sober. I'm all clearheaded, reading a book, drinkng coffee, and able to keep tabs on all conversations around me all at the same time. Whereas before i would just sit there and stare at a page with a blank mind. Its odd...to be thinking on the sober level...

I pretty much did the same thing, and noticed the same differences. Now I'm blazing again but i still jog/drink lots of water/weightlift. Breaks are always good, they just kinda put your head on straight.

after months and months of smoking mad amounts of pot every day, its awesome to just choose not to for a while, reality can be pretty stimulating on its own, ya know?

it's not a guilty conscience so much as it's the fact that you think the world is going on without you and you are missing out. some people may feel guilty when they get high though, but that's only because of personal reasons - whether or not they realize what those reasons are.

i'm taking a week off starting this saturday - i have smoked nearly every day for quite a while, i'm a little worried I won't be able to do it =P I know what you mean about sober life vs. stoned life, though - last semester, i never got high and went to classes or tried to study - this semester, i only had business classes and field trips, so i was stoned ever time i went to the school. the other day i had a big test, and didn't smoke, and it was fucking amazing the difference i saw. i totally didn't appreciate it when i was clean all the time, but the brain can do so damn much at once, it's amazing

and you're wasting enough as it is by smoking joints. use a pipe or a bong man, takes less, gives more. Its a win win.

extremely good book.

after reading it, i would recommend picking up the movie. jack nicholas (spelling) stars in it, and either he or the movie itself won an academy award.

very rarely does a movie based on a book impress me but this movie is exceptional.
