i was in a dead end and a cop pulled around the corner.

Tonight about 3 hours ago a friend and i were looking for a safe place to park the car and smoke, and we ended up driving pretty far not noticing it, and we ended up in this beach neighborhood, we went around one corner, then a cop came around that same corner behind us. so i turned at one of the next roads and went out past the main street onto the other side of the road where there was a complicated neighborhood, and kept driving around and i ended up getting lost.

Then we pulled around a corner and it was a dead end, so we just pulled over and stopped and realized what a cool place to smoke it was. so we smoked one bowl fine, then on the second bowl, a car comes around the corner with the lights shining straight into my car(my friend and i were in the front seats) and then one of us jokingly said its a cop, and when we looked closer it was. he pulled up right behind us and sat there for like 2 seconds then backed up and then slowly drived past my car.

My friend and i were so confused, because we were in a dead end, which had a sign before the dead end, saying dead end(why would the cops go to the dead end to turn around if they know its there, insted of just turning around in a drive way)

i thought that they were waiting for us to come around the corner so they could catch us driving. my friend then said "maybe they came back here to show us that they know we are back here, and to leave" , now i dont know cause that seems kind of strange. this just happend and i just thought it scared me alot and someone might like to hear the story.

something similar to that happend to me about a month ago..........me and a couple friends were bakin out this rental car...........we were in this parking lot in the middle of nowhere.............so were about to light up the blunt and a cop drives past us..........thank god for tinted windows..............

Was it the same cop that was behind you earlier? When he drove by you was he staring at you? I am sure he just wanted to prove his point that you could not hide from the cop.

kinda sounds like was happend to me an' the homies a couple nights ago......

we were parked at the top of a cola-sac(however its spelled) just blazin bowls.......well, my homie was rollin a blunt an' kept on turnin on the map light to see, an' im like, turn that shit off homie, its suspicious.......well he doesnt, so i do, an' right after i turn the light off, we see a fuckin cop cruize up to the beginning of the cola-sack, an' we like "OH SHIT", so i take my baggy an' im gettin ready to stash, but then the cop just fuckin turns around halfway up the street an' dips...........damn i was scared...........

why don't you just smoke while you're driving...and drive in a less busy area? 1 bowl on the way out to cruising, one bowl whilst cruising, one bowl for the trip home...should keep everything kosher

If I was driving...and smoking...that's what I would do. You do'nt even have to light it, the passenger could keep it cherried for you...then it's basically a no-task job. A lot safer, too

Agreed. Parking on a dead end street is not a good idea. Nor is parking in the middle of nowhere. As good as it looks being the only car in some deserted area, that just means you're the center of attention if someone does happen by.

Either keep mobile or blend in.

yeah we just cruise around on country roads in my town. never had a cop encounter doing that *knocks on wood*

smoking while parked is askign to get caught and i feel no pity for those who get caught doing it..well mabye alittle but come on be smarter then the cops!

I believe the best way is to drive to a fairly deserted place, preferrably with some sort of hiking trail through the woods, and get out and take a walk. Just walk until you find a place that has a nice vantage point and some cool scenery. It's safe because you can stash something in the woods, under a specific log or something. Or in a real emergency find a stream or something.
