Black Ice... get those people out of my way!
ok.. i just got back from driving... and it was soo funny...
ok... i assume most of you know what black ice is.. right?.. ice on the road you can hardy see... Anyways... its 7 am in the morning and i have to leave to catcha bus to take me snowboaring.. so i go out.. and the car is covered in 2 cm of ice!... i'm like... damm! so i get my scraper out.. and start chisseling my car out.... bla bla bal.. i get on the road... and just as i get to the end of my street.. i hear the firetruck sirens.. but i dont see it.. i can hear it really closr..but i cant see it... and then it just appears.. the firetruck is going like at 10Kph... sooooooo slow.. i felt like i was ina video game... the roads where covered in black ice!!!! so i put on 4 wheel drive part time on ym jeep and head on.... and i get to a normally buisy avenue.. to find what... cars parked and just lying everywhere... cars parked sideways on the road.. some facing the wrong way.. some agains the curbe... i couldnt stop laughing!!.. like i mean.. i feel sorry for those people who are trying to get somewhere but are now stuck in the ice... but like.. i felt like i was a rally driver trying to avoid obstacles! i only saw myself and this other truck actually driving on the street... needless to say the bus was canceled... wahat a bummer.. i really wanted to go boarding today!... so the lesson learned today is... 4 wheel drive is good... but it doesnt do magic.... and people... get some chains please!

damn, if there is any ice or snow on the road over here there is no way you will find me driving my car, haha once nasty weather like that hits im hibernating

yeah i'm glad i don't have to worry about ice being on the road here.....fuck its now getting cold here....last week it was like in the high 70s i think and mid 80s now its pretty fucking cold

well, i cant compete with the 35 below zero guy, but right now we got tons of snow/freezing rain pouring down. its 20 degrees outside and we got about 2 inches of gnarly iced over snow.

HIGH All, *LOL* funny for sure kid_3....I live on Van Isle and we don't get snow too much here..but when it does I too laugh at people who don't know how to drive in the White Shit....like trying to drive on hills *LOL* I just sit and LMAO.F.F.F. it's just too funny.

Metric system.. o yeah!.. i'm originaly from Mexico city.. so i use C° and meters...
dude.. the ice is soo much fun!.. i just saw this dude park his truck.. then it started sliding down the road.. it hit a BMW and it sent it skidding to the other side of the road.. then it crashed into 4 other cars.... What a mess!! but trying to walk on ice is soo messed up.... like.. you walk uphill but you slide downhill... ooo.. i just found out.. this freezing rain phenomenon happens mostly int he northwest... like.. we dont get jack shit of snow (expet for last year) but we get rain.. and then it freezes....

Im tired of winter already and it really just started. Its like what
Schrananapuss said, it was like low 40s here until two days ago, then freeeeezing ass weather. -16 with wind chill was the lowest I saw, but that shit is RIDICULOUS.
