smoking and usage

I've really had some fun on these forums and have learnt a lot. It's time for me to move on though, although one day i will probs return.

Today i made a promise to my mother to quit weed after she found my lighters and i admitted to her i smoke weed. She knew anyway apparently so she was glad i was honest with her.

She is really anti-drugs, completely black and white about the subject. She wasn't willing to listen to my arguments for it even, but i don't mind, shes my mum..

I just felt that to prove weed wasnt controlling me in anyway and that i wasnt in anyway addicted id say "if you want me to quit i will" and she asked if i would, and so i am. simple as. After the conversation i gave her my stash and ive promised to her i won't smoke until ive got my own place and ill never let it become between us.

Anyway, id like to thank everyone on these forums for listening to my crap and teaching me some handy stuff.

yeah just told my friends (the ones i smoke with) that i quit, they are all really supportive..

god im gonna miss smoking weed.

ill probs still be around them when they smoke so this could be very hard..

thinking about it, ill still hang around here too, just cos i cant smoke doesnt mean i cant talk about it lol

wow man, kudos with no limits. You've got some balls dude, not many people would do something like that. still come back once in a while though man, just cuz u dont smoke dosent mean your not welcome. once again dude, good luck. we need many more people in the world with respect like yours.

Yeah man, been there, done that. I quit for around 4 monthes, but now i realized that I wasn't addicted to it at all, there was no problem quitting... I only do it less then once a week now, and I dont smoke it, I eat cookies or somthing...

dude...that is so corny, of course she wants you to quit, she is apparently ignorant to your former choices. I apologize for this but i just pictured a naive helpless woman leaning on her counter with sobbing eye's halfy nodding up, taking advantage of your bitch like abiding habits by manipulating you with guilt trips of loyality and family wish's as to instil in your mind that marijuana use was even a problem to begin with, who's problem? not your's if you were a man to begin with...just my take on it, i have nothing against you personally.
