Nearly crushed by tree...

One of the things I do occasionally for fun is to go into the woods around here which are filled with thousands of dead hemlock trees. Me and friends wander around, smoke some pot, and take down the occasional dead tree.
So the other day we went into the trees with some twine string for the purpose of taking down a big dead tree. We find a perfect target, and manage to lasso the top of the tree.

So I find myself standing alone on this rock pulling the string at the frequency of the swinging dead tree. Suddenly I hear a crack and I see the top half of the tree flying directly at my head much faster then I would have expected. According to my friends I instantly turned and leapt... As I was in midair leaping from the rock the tree slams into the rock...

I turn round and my friends are laughing, and I see the tree lyring shattered on the rock that I was just standing on.

The adrenaline rush was fucking amazing. But anyway, I tihnk I'll be a bit more careful in the future.

lol were you high when that happened? Weird shit always happens when im high. And i have REALLY slow reflexes when high. lol. I prolly would have been SOL. but who knows maybe with the adrenaline and all i could have jumped.

lmao thats crazy.........a tree in by the woods at my house took out some power lines a couple weeks ago..........good thing i wasnt there its usually a spot i blaze at............

Fucking hell, near death experience! Good to hear you had a lucky escape.

When i was younger, i ran down some helter skelter slide, fell off the edge head first towards the ground, at about a height of 15ft! On the way down i caught my leg in part of the frame structure and just stopped, 2 ft from the ground. I was hanging by my foot upside down. I was in complete shock. Thats the nearest to death i remember.

Wow, experiences like that really make you think though. Hard to get out of your head.

somthing less intense happened to me and my friend we weer stoned and he wanted to kick down a tree so he kicked it and it flew forward and then backward LOL IT SNAPPED ON THE WAY BACK!!!!!! (smaller tree of course) so then it flies at him and hit hims and i die laughing o man that shit was funny



and thank God you got out of the way because your friends most likley would not have done shit because of the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeddd
