Another "I got caught" thread

my fellow stoners.....this is a sad day for me........hear me out.....me and my friend....i was like "hey man want to go and blaze one up?" he said "sure man" so i went and bought a white owl peach and started to un do it and roll it ...but here is the fatal mistake i figured i'd park in a little secluded area real quick so i can get the tobacco out....and the place was decent....we could see both roads that come to this one (its a dirt trail)

And any ways two motherfucking cops come up one in each road! i was like FUCK! and then i calmly put my "stuff" into my middle console...(my stealth hid'n spot) this woman cop comes out and asks us why we were just sitting here...and ya know all that yada yada yada.....they search.....and search......ANNNNND they search....they were getting desprate i can tell.....so the cop lady said this "well we found these little weed particles...we'll put them through the test....unless you want to save us the trouble and just out right tell us where the stuff is" i'm like ummmm no (((lol))) i don't know that is but i dont have anything......all of a sudden this dude in a cop car comes pulling up and comes to my car and does this......oh check here....*pop* comes up my middle console.....thats when my heart/brain failed..........i whispered to my friend "dude...were sooooO dead!" the woman was like "OOOoooOOOOooOHHH what is this????? *holds up baggys* hmm?" .....me? i was like "oh that yeah ummmm" and after that went to jail for about 6 hours......my dad came and got me out.....thank god for my dad.....oh and another thing.......they didn't read me my rights........they also wanted me to setup my dealer....NOPE not me.......i'm one of the nicest ppl you'll ever met....

man i'm gonna stop buying man...its down right depressing....if some1 has a blunt or a bong out and ask if i want to toke up with them hell ya but no personal weed for me anymore.....(oh btw when i got my car back its all to pieces all the console is ripped out and stuff its messed up)

oh yeah i was arrested......handcuffed....supposed to have two charges but one of them got dropped...if that one didn't get dropped....i wouldn't be at my house right now...(it would have been a fucking felony) and it was my first time being arrested...being in jail....all that shit...damn

Ok, wait a second. Did you consent to a search?
Because from what you said here, there was no consent.

If that's true, and they searched your car for no reason, and with no consent: the evidence can be thrown out in court.
Get a good attorney.
If he's really good, he'll get your charges completely dropped, and the cops will end up looking like jackasses.

Also...don't smoke in cars, don't stash in cars.
Keep your shit at home: and smoke where you keep your shit.
That's the best way to do it.

well right at first they asked to....AND I SAID NO....then the lady cop was like (exact words..i swear) "well if we can't do that then we can get the dog out and..." Me: "well don't want lyou guys to go to al lthat trouble (they didn't have the dog with them)" i'm just waiting until my mom comes home she's gonna give me shit (she works night shifts)

You shoulda said you were taking a phone call and pulled over to talk. Or some other sly shit but i can see how that coulda easily got shitty as it did. Sorry bout that shit, smoke one up and just think shit out more. Its hard as hell to stash shit in cars all the spots ive seen suck ass. None of them were great, speaking of which even my spots in my car suck. Any good recommendations?

this is where i hid my shit....decent place...but not good enough...thats the thing where that guy in the other cop car...the guy that said "oh check here" *pop* then the lady when "ohhh" yeah that part...but it took the fat cop like atleast 20 minutes but technically he din't even find it the other cop did....i hope this helps!

Talk to a lawyer immediately. From your story, it sounds like the search might have been illegal (unless she really did see or think she saw "weed particles" just from a casual inspection of the inside of your car). And if they really arrested you without reading you your rights, that's extremely illegal too.

Tell your lawyer what happened, and get a copy of the police report. Don't give up hope yet. And I know this sounds a little cheesy, but everything's going to be okay. I've been through this experience, and it can be really scary. But when you make it through, you'll be a stronger and wiser person because of it. If you ever want encouragement or advice, feel free to PM me. And remember, the only reason you're in this situation is because of a stupid and illogical law. Don't get too mad at the cops/judge...they're just doing the jobs that the ignorant anti-drug movement is telling them to do. Change the law, and the cops and judge will be on your side.

Same thing basically happened to my bro. All I know is that I am DONE smoking in cars. Sure it seems like a fine idea, but really cops will pull over if they see you parked in a secluded area and you look like you might be someone who smokes. Its best to park and go find a nice place to chill because if you happen to see a cop you can just drop you shit and keep walking. and you won't possibly be charged with a dui, it will just be posession.

if they smelled weed then they legally could search your car. if they saw weed then they could legally search your car. if you said OK to their search then they can legally search your car. if you said no, and they just said "we are searching your car" then you are in luck because they broke the law. get a laywer and make those cops look like jackass's.

what part of ga are u from? cops round here suck...thats why i drive a crown vic, dark windows, blacl grille, antennas...everyone thinks its a cop car, i keep the scanner on too to find out whats goin on...those are handy if u smoke in the car alot

umm i live southern ga camden county

All part of the game man , the price of choosing to break the law is taking the shit that goes with it. Bitching like a baby about the cops and how unfair it all is just makes you sound like a whiny fag , the cops have a job to do ( uphold the law ) they don't get to choose which laws they have to enforce.
I have been to prison a couple of times and accept that I could end up there again , that's what happens to lawbreakers when they got caught , take it like a man and realise it's you're own actions that have consequences.
The law needs to be changed but if you believe that the cops have any power to change the law then you really need to be educated.

This is why I never smoke in cars. Or smoke in public. Or carry pipes on me. Generally if I'm going out to smoke, I preroll joints or just take enough pot for 3 bowls, cause I know I'll be matching with 2 other people. This way, at least in OH, they can only get me for posession, which is a $100 civil citation. It's usually the paraphenilia that gets you. But I don't smoke in cars after, every single time I did, I passed cops and killed my buzz. It's like they knew where I was and smelled my paranoia. But I have a boyfriend that doesn't smoke, so he usually offers to drive me if I've been smoking.
