i got lost in LA when i first moved down here and ended up in a pretty bad part of town (apparently...). i stopped at a 7-11 to ask for some directions and this black dude came up to my car right as i was about to get out. he made a gesture to tell me to roll my window down, so i cracked it just enough to where he could talk to me. a this point i was shittin bricks, i am a white boy and about as thug as a ladybug, the toughest place i'd been to before this was tacoma, WA haha. he told me that i should stay in my car if i wanted to stay alive and that for 10$ he'd give me directions out of there. i gave him 20 and fucking hauled ass out of there after he told me how to get back to the freeway. first time i ever really understood that there are places in our country you just dont want to be.

Yeah I live in Jacksonville or #4 on the list, but on the nice side of town . But I go to school in that beaver street area. Not too bad unless you're a crack dealer or start shit( you just gotta keep your head down). I walked through and almost got robbed actually in Arlington once when trying to pick up a hp though. Yeah anyways, that area isn't listed for straight out balls craziness but rather the number of homicides that occur between younger pushers trying to move up, like 3 times during school we had to lock down due to the fact of people walking onto campus shot(I only saw a dude getting shot once, scary as fuck during a English test haha). |
