Lucky stop by the cops :)
Alright well this weekend was pretty good. Friday night my sisters bf calls me telling me he just got an eight and wanted to smoke it. So I ride my skateboard halfway between our houses...(we live in different neighborhoods but are really close. So anyways we go into this field and start smoking, I wasnt sure at the time wat he had so I brought my shit too (the field was right off the street and im pretty sure it was private property ) About halfway through this big blunt (not making myself seem cool but this thing was like 7 inches big haha) we stop and I skate back to his house and then to mine. I got back about 10:30pm. Soooo...saturday night he calls me and tells me his parents arnt home and asks if he wants to smoke the rest of his weed. So I go over with my stuff again, and we smoke 3 joints and take like 4 hits each out of a gravity bong lol, so after a while I go home totally baked and get home around 10:30 again. So tonight..(sunday) im skating to my moms house (same neighborhood as my sisters bf) and Its about 8:30 and I hear quick little sirens...obviously it was the cops. So they stop me and star asking me questions and I was being pretty cool about it, then they asked me to empty my pockets. LUCKILY!! I found a website from a post on here about rights when you get stopped on the street and how cops arnt allowed to search you without reasonable cause. So I sayed I really just want to get home and I dont want to get searched so the cop sayed, "well we almost had him" to his cop buddy and they said have a good night and left. I felt so good after that, I went home and smoked a bowl haha.

good job knowing your rights. i hate it when i watch cops and people get in trouble because they didn't know their rights. if anyone else wants info on rights go to flexyourrights.org.

Lol.
I can't imagine a cop ever saying to his cop mate, right in front of you, "well we almost had him". And why would they randomly pull you over and want to search you? For what, skating? I call bullshit, as well as the 7 inch blunt, you woulda have to have rolled a couple blunt wraps together..
But anyway, whatever, if it's true than good job knowing your rights.

You sound like one mean person. Its very possible for a blunt to be 7 inches long and packed with weed. Its not like he said " a 18 inch blunt with a thickness of 13 inches in diamater...." THe cops could of thought he was underage or up to no good or possible some skater punk so they do have the right to stop him. Maybe the cops got a report in that some kid robbed a house then skated off on his skateboard and saw this kid and stopped him...

I checked that site out and its given me more knowledge about what cops can and cant do when they try to stop you for no reason.

a lot of cops will try to get a kid on anything. I was playing basketball with 10 people total and 15 other people just hanging out. Compeletly clean, no one was smoking, nothing shady, and they still tried to search everyone because there were more than two kids in one place. I believe his story. Nice job on your rights to. If your not up on that shit, theres really no point in calling yourself a citizen.

Not sure why it's so hard to believe that something like this took place. It happens all the time.

Remember--Police can detain you if they can articulate a reasonable suspicion that they believe you're committing a crime. If not, they need you to cooperate by engaging them in a consensual encounter and granting them consent to conduct a search.

Okies cool, I really don't mind, I'm just a bit skeptical of a cop saying to another cop, in the presence of some dude, 'well we almost had him'. But whatever, he's probably telling the truth, all good. Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh before, didn't mean to..
