fucked up situation after i smoked. (long story)

I apologize in advance for the length of this story GC citizens, but I want to share it with you and see what all you smokers out there think of this.

This happened last semester while I was at school. I was talking to two of my friends (these two were friends from their hometown and were rooming together), and I mentioned that I was thinking about picking up a dime bag that night. Later on, I was hangin out with Kid #1, I had got the nug, and he and I decided to go smoke, not letting Kid #2 know where we were going.

Now, I'm sure there are many of you on this site who have at least once not told/ lied to a friend about what you were gonna be doing, instead of letting them know you were going to smoke. Kid #2 had been a fucking dickhead lately, so I hope you don't think ill of me for not inviting him to join.

Anyway, Kid #1 and I go smoke a bowl and we come back to my room and play some Rockband. We're getting ready to go out and kill the rest of the bud when Kid #2 calls me, asking about the dime sack. I tell him that I had decided not to get it and was just gonna be in my room studying and shit.

After I get off the phone, me and Kid #1 go and smoke the rest of what I had. Our normal spot seemed kinda hot, so we walked over to another one not too far away. We start walking back along a path that goes right by our normal spot, and who do we see? Kid #2 walking towards our spot, looking for us.

He starts walking towards us, sighs and says my name, and then rushes at me and throws a kidney punch at me. I happened to be able to move just enough so he didn't hit me full force, and as I'm cursing at him, he tells me to get on my knees and apologize to him. First I keep telling him no, and eventually he says "Get on your knees, or I'm going to MAKE you get on your knees."

(He wanted me to apologize basically for lying to him and for taking Kid #1's side over his. Personally, I don't think I should have to apologize for smoking MY pot with who I want, even if I did lie about getting it.)

Now, having my piece on me and not wanting to take the chance of us fighting and security/police being called, I don't retaliate and get down, saying that I don't know what he wants me to say, and that I'm sorry. (Please don't think of me as a wuss.)

After all this goes down, me and Kid #1 walk back, Kid #2 behind us and trying to apologize to me as I ignore him.

That's pretty much the story.

I want to know how you feel about this story and if anyone out there feels there was any logic/ legitimate reasoning on my part.

That was pretty intelligent of you to survey the situation and decide not to fight back so you wouldn't draw attention from authorities while carrying paraphernalia. I probably would have least said "fuck you" and walked away, though it sounds like he would have gotten more physical if you had said that. I agree with you, you are not obligated to tell him that you are smoking your bud. It would be kind of messed up if you had promised him beforehand that you all were going to be smoking it together, but your post didn't seem to suggest that you had previously arranged a session with him.

You mentioned that Kid 2 was being a dbag lately, you didn't say how or to whom but I assume it affected you; I wouldn't exactly be hoppin' to smoke someone out who had been an ass to me lately either. That is some paranoid cantankerous shit to come looking for you and trying to start a confrontation; that definitely merited a dickhead status. I wouldn't expect you to accept his apology immediately after that.

yea i wanted to just gtfo of there, except each direction i moved he just kinda stayed in front of me, about 4-5 feet away, but he just kept blocking the way, so I couldn't have gotten around. And he's one of these kids who I really don't think he would have cared what I would've had to say anyway, I have a feeling like he would have just said "whatever, blah blah blah."

And yea reflecting on it I know I should have at least said something to the effect of "go fuck yourself", but at that point in time, I didn't feel that I had to justify/explain myself.

Yes, I know its (usually) pretty much a universal feeling among smokers that its meant to be shared, but I think that it should be kinda understood (by fucktards like this kid) that if its not your ganj, its up to whoevers it is who they smoke with, not your decision. (Even if the person makes a small white lie about not smoking, when they really are going to.)

Talk about anger problems. Umm its just a dime bag! he needs to calm the fuck down. You did the right thing not fighting back, cause the last thing you want i the police on your ass or pesky security whom think they are the shit with their fucking flashlights. I've done that too , lie to a friend about somking, I had just bought an 1/8 and took it to my cousin house were i was spending the night cause she was out of town, and i invited some friends i puled out the 1/8 and one of my firends that were their wanted to smoke to i packed a bowl we smoked it together then i pack another one and while i was paxking it my friend called me telling me she was parking and on her way up to the condo, but she parked by the beach so it would take her a few munutes to get to us so then i told my friend we had to finish it before my friend came up. So then we smoked the bowl and whatever by the time my friend got up we were slughty blazed and seh couldnt tell and she asked had we been smoking and I said no. Then shes like oh okay And she pulled out a few joints and we just finished getting blasted. Then she found out cause she saw my bowl in the sink and shes like you did smoke and iw as like no... i was just showing my new bowl and had liek less than 2 fucking hits so i let her have them. Night trned out to be so much fun we ended up drinking at the beach.

i hate to be the one to say this first, but that kid made you his bitch. and kid #1 doesn't seem like much of a friend, seeing as you didn't mention him trying to help you or anything.


if i was in a situation like that, i would have said "fuck that shit" and just started walking away, in the opposite direction or something.
