this thread is for those who still live with their parents for some reason, or who would just like the approval of their parents.
honestly i think every stoner who lives with their parents or even across the world from their parents would love to have parents who let them smoke
so why not have a thread with ideas on how to convince your parents to let you smoke?
a thread with facts and strategies to change their oppinions
a thread with ways to come to your parents, and say you know what i smoke, but its not that bad, and then to back that up.
their are so many people on gc so their has to be atleast 2 people with similar parents who think the same things. there has to be atleast 2 people on this site that have been in the same situation when they were caught, and atleast 2 people that can use the same strategy to get their parents approval

come on, the more posts we have in this thread the more people will be helped. im hoping that people who were caught, or who want to fess up to their parents will be able to come here, and leave with a good strategy and good enough facts to convince their parents that they should be able to smoke

I think it depends on the person/family. I dont think Id hide that I smoked if I had a down to earth parent(s). My parents (they were divorced tho at the time) just are like, your high arnt you, Im like yep, my best friends uncle busted us out a long long time ago..like 15, walked in at night blazed as fuck, it was our first time, hes a big pot head so he knew right off the bat, but we tried hiding it, later that night he was just laughin and was like you cant fool a person thats been getting high for years. But it was good times, Ill never forget that, being high for the first time was the best fucking thing ever. Well ok not really..


I just say if there cool parents tell them, noone would know how they would react more then the kid living there. Plenty of education sites on mj and its negative effects. Propaganda kills alot of things tho..but some parents arent blindsided and still open and down to the 'new ways things work.

alright heres my situatuation
i gotta live with my dad for atleast another year coes 9th grade i realized the magic of ditching
and i think it would kick ass if this next year i could be able to toke at home and not hide it
and plus, if he realized it wasnt to bad maybe hed let me get my license
so im writing a paper, starts off with a hige intro asking him to pay attention to everything i say(he usually just hears what he wants to hear pretty much)
then it goes into sayin how my friends that have parents who let them smoke are closer, and that since im researching this and typing the paper it shows there is no such thing as lazyness when it comes to something i care about. and that i have bad grades coes i have no motivation, and i havnt since 6th grade(the year after my parents got a divorce, i lived with my mom all through middle school) and that if we made a deal where i had to tell him where i keep all my shit, and as long as my grades stay up then i cans moke....once they drop he takes all my shit away.
ima finish writin it like tomorow and add a bunch of research, with my sources at the end. and ill add in that yes there are sites saying its bad, but they are mostly all government sources and thats just one source

what do you guys think? i can pm it to anyone who wants to see it or maybe change it up a lil and use it

Thats a weak excuse if you still live with your folks and there against it. Adult or not your still on there property idc if your 40 years old its there rules and if they don't like they'll kick ya out.

Parents who are against it usually push there kids away though and thats not a good thing making there kids have to be dishonest and sneak around smoking a perfectly harmless plant.

My mom smokes and I think she would care more than my dad who doesnt. A while back my dad saw an aim conversation with a friend of mine talking about smoking for the first time and he was like "just try not to send that stuff over the internet" hahaha

bought my bong, pipe, some rolling papers,
and gets my weed for me.

She kind of lectured me because she'd found I'd been smoking cigarettes and I told her that that and weed was what helped me through depression and such and she told me she'd rather me smoke weed than ciggs.

My parents have been smoking for 30 sum odd years got busted a couple of times by them when I was a kid they just told me I was to young and took it (always had my connect on the phone trying to get another bag soon as they where out the door lol.) than when I was 16 I was totaly honest with my mom about everything so she started smoking with me and letting me use the family connects... Dad was in denile even though it was blatently obvious that I smoked... There for awile i was dealing and growing to get cash to start a good quality steal grow so there was constantly people coming in and out of the house and sense I didn't have a carbon Scrubber at the time it smelt like the Garden of Weeden in my room and the hallway... At my 18th Birthday party he smoked a J with me and I been lightin' up with the whole fam ever sense.

Yeah I was really glad my mom started smoking with me first sense shes got the stoner side of the family... My dads the only person in his family that smokes and none of them even know... But on my moms side I got growers and dealers for relatives and about 95% of them all blaze. Gotta love having a flower child for a mom and a biker for a dad.

If you're ditching school to get high, you shouldn't be smoking. The American school system sucks, but you're not gonna learn anything better by smoking weed. Keep going to school, and prove to your parents you can be successful while toking up. If you can do that, they'll probably let you.
