Worst day ever (with the gf) paramedics

I need to vent how scary this was for me today.


So me and my g/f have been fighting over stupid shit, so the other night I walked out on her and what not so this morning we agreed we would put that all in the past and just move on and not fight.

So before I go to her house I go to the store and pick up two 40s and a six pack to smooth things out between us. I pick her up and we go to a park with beaches and what not and sit on the pick nick table.

Now I can tell shes a little drunk already and I confront her and she tells me she had a couple shots earlier. So she starts drinking the 40 and all of a sudden shes completely wasted theres kids and parents all around us and she won't stop trying to make out with me and shes just being drunk falling off the seat and what not just completely gone. (obviously she drank a lot more then she had told me)

So I put her in the car and drive off to the parking lot and sit there for awhile to get her to calm down and maybe sober up. All of a sudden she opens the car door and starts puking. I get out and go to her side and after she finishes I am basically dragging her out of the car and sit her down and shes just like flopped forward on the pavement.

At this point I'm just nervous I don't know what to do because I can barely move her and she can't stand for herself. All of a sudden a green jeep pulls up and hes paramedic for the fire department he helps me get her in the car and he starts taking her blood pressure and heart beat and he tells me she has moderate alcohol poisoning she couldn't even tell him the day of the week.

Anyway the whole time this is happening there is a cop car driving around near us and all of a sudden it starts coming towards us and I'm thinking oh no and to top off my concerns he asks me "Do you have any more alcohol in the car?" of course I tell him "no" when there was a 40 still in the back. The cops turned off and didn't come over thank god! I asked him nicely not to get the cops involved and told him I would do anything for her and that he needed to instruct me on what to do. I had a bong, alcohol in my system and weed in my car if that happened I would of been arrested.

Anyway to sum it up I brought her home and slept with her for awhile shes better now and I can't tell you how scary it was for me to see her like that as well as knowing I could of been arrested.

I don't want to have to been in that situation ever again so scary, I have a head ache right now and just feel awful how do you deal with your g/f when shes a complete mess like this I feel like if I did actually break up with her who knows what she would do.

Not pouring alcohol into her an expecting it to make your relationship ok would be a good start i think

It was so we could just chill and relax together I wasn't pouring it into her I bought her 2 40s she drank half of one.

Sure I feel horrible because I feel like its my fault partly because I upset her enough for her to drink that much and then I gave her more. I didn't know she was that intoxicated thought I had no idea. ugh I guess we learn everyday I just want everything to be ok its such a horrible feeling when some one you care about is like that.

Is like what? Runs to a substance when upset? Oh wait. Isn't that what a majority of stoners do? They have a stressful day so they smoke a bowl. Not trying to talk down to anyone, be it your girl or you. But you aren't responsible for her. I'm sure she's a big girl.
I understand though that you feel a little bummed about it. Just let her know it was a stupid as hell thing to do. I wouldn't fight about it, but at the same time I wouldn't hug her and kiss her and make her feel like an angel. Like she did something wrong but it still your pookie. I'd be stern. As if you were talking to a kid. Cuz doing something like that, honestly, is childish.

Sounds to me like she probably drank enough before hand to have been poisoned without drinking a measily half 40. So you really weren't at fault at all.. and that would suck horribly to have that happen. But at least you didn't get busted and she didn't die, so.. not all is lost.

chin up brah, not your fault. best thing to do is key her in when shes sober. im sure if you got into trouble she would have felt terrible, so a discussion would be good, just dont let it turn into somethin its not, or a fight

you also hafta think about driving drunk too, if somebody hits you (completely not your fault what SOEVER)and if they get hurt, prison, mandatory

don't feel guilty, its her fault for drinking more/not telling you all what she drank/took

I know man I have a real problem with it.. I can't help myself. I know it sounds stupid but I don't have a problem driving even after 6+ beers. I try to avoid it as much as possible but when you live an hour from your friends it gets hard. I need to get my life back on track I thought a g/f would make me happy but I'm just stressing and feel like she consumes most of my time I would usually spend on myself.

none of its your fault, she got wasted & misinformed you. youve got to let her know that what she did was stupid, that is made you worry your nuts off and if that cop stopped, couldve got you in a huge amount of trouble. also in response to your comment about not knowing what she would do if you broke up, man you cant let those kind of things dictate what your choices are, if you want to break up with her youve got to do it.
