Grow-op Found by the parents

Well, today I had taken Lily (1 week old) outside to get some sun. I left and went to go eat some lunch. When i got back home, my parents were looking at the plant.(Surprise visits FTL!!) This afternoon they called me and asked me to meet with them. I agreed. We had a long talk about Pot and Growing. I also told them I need it for my severe chronic pain due to Crohn's disease. They said they understood but could'nt approve of their son doing anything illegal. We went back to my house and I gave them the plant. They want me to go on Remicade (this medicine has like over 300 side effects, Ie. Cancer, pnuemonia, TB, and a lot of other bad shit) so anyway i told them no way. Then they are like well i think we can get you some pain killers for it so you can sleep and what-not. My reply was "great, something i really can get addicted to" I told them about the legalizations in Cali, Oregan, and Washington. They said it was all hippy shit and that Pot can make you deppressed and bi-polar. I almost fuckin blew up. I told them that the research was done by BS government funded projects. Anyway, that plant was my ray of sunshine, my hope, my dream, and my child. I was so attached to it. Well im off to go pick up an 8th. Life gets more unfair for the already unfortunate. (My parents are hardcore conservatives)

R.I.P Lily! That sucks. Luckily, my parents are cool with smoking. They both used to smoke and my dad used to grow. My mom probably still smokes and her husband does I know. Next bowl I pack is for Lily!

Wow dude... fuck your parents if you actually have Crohn's. My friend has that shit and before he went to the doctor he was puking like 6-10 times a day and sometimes blood... The medicine he has says it helps a little, but its the fact that he smokes so much is the reason why he's down to puking like once or twice a day. Tell your parents to fuck off if they don't understand that because that disease is really fucking messed up....

Wait, so you don't live with your parents but you're letting them control your life like that? Tell them that you're an adult and you pay your own bills, so you're in charge of your own life. They're just going to have to live with it.... or continue growing and just don't tell them. I don't understand why you would just give them the plant. Are they actually going to call the cops on their own child for doing something in the privacy of his own home?

haha thanks for all the support you guys. I really needed the good laughs. As for where im living, my parents are helping me on the payment. So they kinda half way own it with me. They just dont want there property getting repo'd by the DEA or some shit. So i kinda gotta abide by their rules untill i get my "own" place. I just hate having to pay for my medicine.

Dude I completely understand. I was told for years that I had Crohn's. But the biopsty always came back neg. But my doc was sure so I have been on the treatment for it. Smoking helps me soooo much. I am able to actlualy fuction but I can't get pot anymore. I had a horable stur up with my stomach, was throwing up blood, unable to eat. Lost 20 pounds in 2-3 weeks and at the same time was doing sports, working a 40 hour jobs and doing high school. I guess the stress got to me. Eventual I passed out on stage at a compeltition and got kicked off my team the next day, lost my job the following couple of weeks, and still no results from and test. Now my insurance got cancels so I can't even affort the stupid $200+ nexium. I got cought by my mom one time (not int the act, was on some new med and was smoking and they kicked my ass. Left weed all over my desk) and she was cool with it, but I get sooo much shut from my sister. She says i'm killing myself and hurting her too. That the litle buzz I get might help for a little bit but the long time effects are horable. She has has almost everything handed to her in her life. Didn't eevn start her first job until she was 19 and she still didn't have to pay for anything. But anyway I know this is getting long. I hope eevrything goes ok with ya and you don't end up like me. lol

I'd definitely say "Im going to do it either way. So I can do it the cheap way (grow) and get my own place sooner, or I can have to buy it every couple days."

tough situation though, cause some parents can be completely unreasonable with facts right in front of them. GL with it

Actually, if that works out maybe posting a quick tut or something would help out cause my one friend was talking about how he wants to grow some.

Anyways, back to the situation. Other posters have brought up good points, ecspecially with the "well I can either grow it and get it free, or buy it and waste my money" and that should clear their heads a little bit. And if you do have that illness then you definitely deserve to smoke and I'd rather smoke a blunt anyday than have to pop some fucking pills that only fuck my shit up and get me addicted.

Luckily for me both my parents smoke. My mom lives in new york and when she comes down or I visit her she offers to smoke blunts and Js with me, so that's cool. as for my dad...I live with him and I guess he still tries to hide it from me. I'm pretty sure he knows I smoke, and he knows I know he smokes, but it's kinda an unspoken thing in the family.
