that weed isnt good enough to pay extra for so you should normally get a dub not 1.5 unless your area is more expensive

Damn, I thought it was easy to get good weed in California... It's possible that the nug weighed around a gram. But $20 a gram for what looks to me like commercial beasters is a total rip off. Don't get me wrong, it could be danker than it looks, but for that price I would be expecting some crazy ass strain that knocks you on your ass. I would have asked for my money back as soon as he started to leave the parking lot.... it's obvious that he's not a dealer, he's just a dipshit high school kid trying to rip people off. Why would he need to leave for over 30 minutes just to get you a gram? Start dealing with less sketchy people.

Yeah that shit is awful, for £10 in the UK I get 1.8 on a 10 of nice phat bud that usually makes 5 or 6 nice spliffs.
