just fucking flushed my phone down the toilet. went to shut off the ringer as someone called just after pissing then flushing, and suddenly it slips outta my hand and into pissy water. dissapeared for 5 seconds then came back so i grabbed it,


dried and tried turning back on... no go.


pretty fucking lame. gotta wake up at 8am for my new second job. YAYYYYYYYY..............

Believe it or not, this actually happenend to me on Xmas.. Like a half hour after I got my phone. Someone sent me an sms.. I had to check right.

Still works tho, but I let it dry out first.

put it in a bowl of rice bro, though it might be too late id still give it a try i left my digital camera outside in a thunderstorm for a whole day 3 days in a bowl of rice and she fired right up the key is just not to turn it on when its soaked but id still give it a try especialy if its a nice phone

Like they said^^^ I've had some expensive shit get wet, and all you gotta do is either turn it off asap if it was on or keep it off and let it dry out for a few days..

My cell went through a wash and rinse cycle in the washing machine after I accidentally left it in my pocket. tried turning it on and it wouldn't work. I just disassembled it the best I could, layed it all out and put a fan on it for two days.

Two days later, put it all together and it worked just fine. Well, not just fine, the only problem with it was that I had a hard time hearing people on the other end because they were really quiet. So I just used an earpiece. I was just happy I didn't have to buy another phone

One time I was finishing taking a dump, and when I pulled up my pants my phone fell out of my pocket into the water.
It still worked after I let it dry out for a couple days.

Not long after that I went swimming in the ocean with the phone in my pocket.
It still worked after I let it dry out for a couple days.

Some time after that I dropped it from the 2nd story onto a tile floor.
Part of the phone case broke off but I was still mostly able to put the rest of the phone back together and it worked.

A month or so later I jumped in my pool with the phone in my pocket.
It still kinda worked after I let it dry out for a couple days...except sometimes the 7 and 9 wouldn't work.

This is why I fucking love Nokia candy bar style phones.
