Recently, my friend has been getting more into the distribution of marijuana, which I am okay with. He's now dealing in kilos, aka kilograms, aka pounds and pounds of marijuana. Since I have helped him out a lot in the past, he and his partner figured they could spare one of their many pounds and give it to me. However, no good could come from me accepting that. A pound is worth what, $1,200? I know that if I accepted it, he or his partner would start asking me for favors, and if I said no, they would be like, "We gave you a pound man, you need to do this for us," and I'm not putting myself in that position. I still live with my parents, if I lived alone I would surely accept it, but right now it would just be too risky. There's no way they would let me have a free pound without wanting something in return later on, and I know it would be big if I accepted it. Not to mention, I have nowhere to keep a pound, and if I lent it to someone they'd probably smoke most of it without me and it would not have been worth becoming indebted for. I really don't need a pound, I smoke a lot but not enough to need a pound. If this had happened a year from now I would have gladly accepted, but not now, it just wouldn't work out.

wow.
and here I was losing faith in GC
it seems we do still have some decent people on here
a pound is certainly a hard thing to turn down, i'm sure that decision didn't come easily
but an even more important question really arises
do we really need that much marijuana?
i think we can all agree that its a lot less trouble to not have that much
