so i got caught actually this time..

my dad comes into my room and is like i smell marijuana (hes a cop so unfortunately he knows the smell). he said to give it to him now because it would be worse if he found it. So i did and we got in this big discussion, well he did actually.. he never lets me talk, about how this always makes you do other drugs. And i was like no way, maybe SOMETIMES. and hes like no, always. but i just kept my mouth shut because i knew this wasn't going anywhere. He then threatened to take me and charge me with it, thank god he didn't. then he somehow got the idea that i drink and drive all the time, and im like no way man, ive never even drank before in my life! and hes like well i just cant believe you. I was thinking "this whole thing is one-sided and i have no chance in hell." He kept saying all of these propaganda BS he hears all the time and i just tuned it out..

but i didnt get into any trouble really, just stricter hours being out and stuff.. oh.. and no weed... and random DT's...

I guess while you're living in his house just put up with his shit. For some odd reason I always imagined cops wouldn't have their heads up their asses with this whole "propaganda" bull shit. Idk.
Anyways, just play by his rules, go through college, get a good house and good job and smoke up your room however many times you want. It's better than having to be fighting with your cop dad all the time and end up in jail or kicked out.

dam man that really blows. Your own dad said he might charge you?! Sorry man, but your dad is definitely the stereotypical queer pig that i hate. I apologize if you really care about him, but I would go crazy if he was my dad.

yeah thats basically what im going to do now.. he only thinks ive smoked twice though... which is a lie.. been smokin many-a-time in my room.. i think i just got cocky.. but last night i really had not smoked so idk how he knew.. i think he bluffed.. but it worked.. but what else could i have done?

I have constantly thought about if my father was a cop and i was caught. Actually very similar to the situation you are in and what i would do. After thinking it over many high (and some sober) nights i have come to the conclusion i would do this. I would probably tell him yea i smoke marijuana. Then if he starts to tell how bad it is i would go through the typical de-propagandanising (yea i know its not a word STFU ) of him and explaining how its not bad. I would then actually hope he says he would think about bringing me up on charges for it so i would go into a whole tirade about his work coming before family. Tell him that fine if you want to bring me up on charges go ahead and do it but you will lose a son in the process. Really guilt the shit out of him. idk what the fuck im saying haha, hope that made sense w.e. sorry again man.

if he's ignorant all the time, then there's really no use in trying to persuade him that it's ok to smoke. ignorant people are too close minded to even give a shit. keep smoking until he decides to charge you for it. and when he does that, take the previous advice and tell him that he'll be losing you in the process. because if he's going to overreact, you should be able to do the same. the situation would be different if he actually took the time to listen, stop living in his little pig pen, and actually take the time to understand where you're coming from.

problem is he would charge me without thinking twice, he basically gives the family a chance if they fuck up but since this is the 2nd time, hes probably going to start having all the pigs that run the street start profiling me now.

and so far today hes trying to guilt me into feeling worse than i already do.
he keeps saying he feels like hes failed. and i mean i feel bad about this thing because its family related ya know? but hes basically pouting.. because he does this after i do anything.. hes always pouting.. its really lame.. and i cant do anything about it besides move out, and im defiantly not doing that

keep in mind, cops are trained to play mind games. once you play their game, you lose. you're not smoking to piss him off, or feel like shit, you're smoking for yourself. continue what you're doing, and until you start railing lines or binge drinking, don't worry about anything. let your dad tell all the cops about you, only makes him look like more of an asshole. i'm sorry, but you need to stand up against the oppression.

i guess you kinda need to meet my dad to see where im coming from.. hes different.. hes kinda stuck in the past because he grew up where drugs weren't ever introduced to him till college. And this pouting this is a mind trick i know.. but im not falling for it like i never do.. he'll just pout for awhile.. learn im not falling for it, then give up.. but ive pretty much decided im gonna stop until college-ish..
