No Increased Appetite after smoking...

I smoked a spliff with three of my friends the other day. It was good fun, I have had panic attacks in the past but lucky didn't have one this time. Everyone felt hungry except me, so we headed down to A&W. I got myself a burger, fries and a drink. When I sat down, I took a look at the burger and for some reason I got panic attack like feelings (racing heart, anxiety) and when I took a bite I felt sick to my stomach, I didn't feel hungry at all and this scared me because I thought something was wrong... Well, was it? I drank lots of fluids and maybe an hour later went and got a piece of cake but that is all, ever since that severe panic attack I had smoking hasn't been right...

I think that in most cases, munchies are just psychosomatically triggered because we've been trained by negative stereotypes to associate them with marijuana. Personally, after smoking for a few months, I stopped getting hunger attacks, and a lot of others have said the same. Don't force yourself to eat just because you think you have to.

i dont really get the munchies
sure i get hungry, but i always get hungry even when im not baked.
i just hate when someone is over and all they do is ask for food, so you get them food and all they is ask for more and more.
im not here to feed you all my fucking food. were here to smoke some fucking weed.

its like if you chill and dont just beg im gonna get a couple bags of chips and shit, but once u ask me to get food i dont feel like gettin it anymore knowing all your gonna do is keep asking for more.

I get the munchies most of the time that I smoke, and I love it. Eating when you get the munchies and you are extremely blazed is one of the finest things on this earth.

I used to be that way but the last 2 pickups (same batch from same guy) gave me the munchies like no other. Im serious. I didnt get the munchies....I got the "i havent eaten in 2 days i must consume anything and everything in the kitchen"

Even my roommate (she smokes with me of course) said that my last to purchases gave her the munchies like no other.

Any pot chemical gu-rus out there know anything about types of bud or chemical differences that might trigger or effect that?

I heard something about one of the chemicals resembling the "Hungry" herimone in your brain, so it stick into that receptor, and bam you feel hungry!

I like to smoke after I eat a good meal its very relaxing and I never get the munchies.
