This is a story about my friend, that Im sure almost everyone knows people who have done this to them. So Im smoking bubbler bowls with this one friend of mine at my house. This was the first time I'd ever smoked with this friend. I've known him since my middle school days, but he moved away and just recently moved back so I'd never smoked with him.

Moving on... well me and all my stoner friends are all very careful with how we light the bud when smoking the greens. We all light up our own little spot and rip the shit out of it, but still leave fresh greens for everyone. And thats just always the way it is, and I'd say its considered rude if you don't do this where I'm from.

So back to the story...me and my friend decide to just each pack a bowl. So i pack first and hit it and just light up a little corner, because my bubbler has a pretty large bowl. Then my bastard friend takes the bubbler and just goes crazy on that shit and lights up the whole damn bowl and rips the shiiiiiit out of it and makes himself cough for nearly a minute...so that was pretty annoying but whatever I had gotten my greens so I was fine. Eventually he packs his bowl and he hits first and once again he lights the shit up like crazy and smokes up all the greens so I dont even get a single hit. Which is lame because usually if I smoke with just 1 other friend its typical for us to each get 2 hits of greens and sometimes one of us will get 3. But no my bastard friend had to screw me over....and when we were through I was barely stoned and somewhat annoyed, and he was beyond retarded and being obnoxious, basically just pissing me off. I havent smoked with him since and probably wont ever again.

Dude hes probably a nub. Id give him another chance and show him the way to a good bowl. He might have been trying to impress you and make himeself look very experienced. I have had friends like this and i had a time when i first started where i was like that. Give it another try and coach him through it

yea i always tell people to corner the bowl...it lasts longer and everyone gets some greens...if he didn't know it's not his fault..i'm sure there were times when you lit the whole bowl..he just didn't know...and how do you expect him to know when you don't say anything after the first time?

I gotta be completely honest, I'm quite high at the moment, and I think I stopped reading what you were saying a little more than half way through. If he hasn't smoked with you before, how's he gonna assume that's the custom? I don't mean to sound rude about it, I've just never encountered it, regardless if you're hittin' green or a nice charcoly gray (or is it grey? someone should answer that because I don't know whats correct and I'd like to be educated with words, anyway back to my point[an inside note: yeah im high]) you're still gettin' high and havin' a good time! I started smoking a year ago on and off and been doing it daily for about a few months now. I've never heard the term "corner bowls" I dont know how to corner a bowl if someone could tell me how id try it next time.

Your friend is not stupid. He just hasn't run into anyone that makes rules about toking up. Ten bucks says if you would have told him at any point in time that you do things a specific way, he would have remembered and done it too.
