street racing story by Talon

so me and my homeboy are rolling around while smoking a blunt so i can show off my talon to him, when he gets a call saying theres going to be some racing action later on.

my mods: ebay fmic, hardpipe intake, hardpipes for fmic, evo 3 16g turbo on 21psi, 660cc injectors, SAFC, walbro 255lph pump, NGK7 sparkplugs, and exhaust piping is eliminated right after the test pipe, soon to be dual piped. estimated 380whp, 95 bone stock 7 bolt with MLS 4 layer headgasket and ARP head studs. cylinder head has been mild ported. still needs a afpr to help with fuel rail overrun at low RPMs.

1st race: my friends 1995 TSi AWD with T28 turbo & bolt ons vs. 2001 Mustang GT with I/H/E


Talon outlaunched the mustang by about 4 cars in first gear (obviously dang'rs cant drive ) . kept pulling away, mustang spun 2nd, caught traction, and tried to chase, but the end of the race the talon was a good 6-7 cars ahead. most one-sided race the whole night.


2nd race: my 95 TSi AWD vs. 2004 Mustang GT w/ tune, I/H/E and gears.

outlaunched the mustang pretty damn hard, i spun all 4 all the way through first while still pulling away from the mustang. shifted into 2nd and the dang'r started catching up for maybe half a sec till the turbo spooled all the way and i started pulling away rather fast, shifted into 3rd and still pulled away till i had to mash the brake to keep from running some intersections.


3rd race: my TSi AWD vs 3000GT SL

honestly i didnt want to race the kid because it was his brothers car and he didnt know how to drive the shit out of it. i thought he'd torque steer right into me.

from a start i took him out harder than i did the mustangs because of the heavy weight and front wheel drive. by 2nd i was a good 3 cars ahead and kept pulling till we started gettig close to the stop signs again, my car has upgraded brakes and has no problem stopping, the 3000GT blew the intersection and almost spun out, hitting the sidewalk going about 50. i drove up to make sure everything was smooth, and the kid says he thinks he broke a axle and i saw the rim was bent and tire was blown, so he limped home (his bro is surely gonna beat him senseless).

4th race: my TSi AWD vs friends TSi AWD

again, this is a very one sided race since i make a good 150whp more than his car.

we were neck and neck in 1st, he spun less, but i had more power so i just feathered the gas and let it rip when i caught traction. by the time i was halfway thru second i was a good car and a half ahead and he already hit his brakes, so i was like wtf, till i looked straight ahead and saw flashing lights. we aborted, hit U turns and got the hell out of there.

like something out of the fast and furious. crazy shit.

umm i dont really enjoy crappin on people parades im glad u enjoy modding yer car and racing it but theres a place for it ya know....its not really fair to everyone else whose lives your putting at risk just to get some "street cred" or whatever....what happens if a kid or a deer or whatever jumps out into the road....or another car.....or at the least a cop catches you and you lose your licence....take it to the track and race wheres its controlled and as safe as it can be...you'll meet more friends, see more cars that really perform well, etc....seriously im sorry if i sound like a total dick but that put me in a shitty mood...

everything was alright till i read "soon to be dual pipes." dont do dual pipes on a four cylinder. that shits so ricer.

but other than that, not bad. its fun beating "big-bad" domestics huh. i remember the first v-8 i walked. it was a ws6, gotta love the look on their face.

lol at everyone talkin about street racing being dangerous. how many of you drive stoned? yea..

and we do this at a industrial park thats closed down for construction. the intersections are a good 1/4 mile away from the start line, and only people that mash it past 3/4 of the street end up blowin past em. and there is no traffic in that area AT ALL for god sakes. and we do this at like 3 in the morning so theres NO WAY to injure anyone but ourselves, but look at it this way, youre smoking, you are shortening your life span, and you dont care. so dont preach to me, ok?

yup crankwalk it out. i think ill throw a rod before that happens tho.

im not going for 2 pipes, heres how i want it: 3in piping after the DP, then where the pipings supposed to bend left to go to the factory outlet, i have another pype Y off. im doing it this way so i can run 2 smaller mufflers instead of one big one and make less but better sounding noise

and i have a turbo, the less restriction, the better the flow.

did i even mention breaking the law? i was talking about putting peoples lives at risk for no good reason...aren't you the same guy that jacked some old people or something anyways?

and Talon -- not that it makes what you do any better but you failed to mention anything about the time , place or conditions in which you race so how the hell was i supposed to know...you talked about slamming your brakes to avoid sliding into some intersection and you go on to say some shit like "it was just like in fast and furious" just makes me feel like your a 16 year old kid trying to live up the movie in real life or something... And about me smoking while i drive, i actually dont ...ever. sure sometimes i drive stoned but im so used to it that it makes no difference in how i drive...im not speeding along streets -- i dont speed at all i pay attention and i havent been in one accident yet after 6 years of driving...my smoking doesnt put anyone at risk but my lungs and some snacks -- i dont care if you hate me i just feel like you need to hear this for the im sure 1000th time theres a damn good reason you hear rants like this often. i hope you grow up soon enough to realize what you're really doing everytime you go out racing. like i said before im sure theres a track somewhere near you look it up online youll have more fun there and no worries about cops or anything.
