I was about 8 years old and me and a bunch of other kids used to climb on top of this aluminum shed and bullshit around. Anyways I was standing on it one day and someone tripped me accidentally and I fell onto a pipe that was in the ground sticking out. Not sure what the purpose of it was. It jabbed me in my stomach really hard and I literally bounced off of it like a rag doll.
I could not breath for a few minutes. It left a horrible bruise and I could not sit down without it hurting, or lean over, and I had to lay in a certain position for it to not hurt.
Finally healed over a 2 month period.

As soon as I read the title I thought of the time that I had the exact same thing with my calf muscle. I think I was watching tv in my bed and I started to get up and my leg was locked and it was so excrutiating. I didn't even breathe and I wanted to yell to my dad but I couldn't. It was so bad I wanted to pass out but sitting right on that border.

I was playing soccer on a field that was surrounded by drainage ditches. Well, the ball rolled off the field into a ditch and I ran to get it at full tilt. Just at the critical moment I trip on a root or clump of grass, I don't remember, and fall into this five foot ditch. It would have been uneventful, but I landed on this big ass cone shaped rock that dug right up under my rib cage. It knocked the wind out of me and when I got my breath back I realized that I was still in the worst pain I had ever experienced. After a while, my Mom took me to the hospital and the whole time I was curled up in the fetal position. The pain would come in 45 second waves and I was huddling there timing my breathing so that when it hit I could have a full breath of air.

It turned out that I had lacerated my spleen and that the fall had pushed my whole upper skeleton up towards my right shoulder (which was were it hurt most). After 3 months, my spleen healed itself but the shoulder has never been the same.

i wouldnt say that this is the most painful but definitely most traumatizing injury i have had. i remember me and my dad playing on the bottom of the stairs of my old house. i would climb up a few stairs and he would grab me and pull me down hard as hell. it was fun and all but one time he did it and for whatever reason i got jerked to the side really fast and the back of my head caught the very corner of the wall next to the stairs hard as shit! i than remember screaming my head off at the pain (didnt feel very good) and got helped up and over to the kitchen table. i than put my hand on the back of my head for a split second than when i looked at my hand again it was absolutely covered with this weird, orangish blood that was more watery and thin than blood ussually is. i proceeded to scream my head off some more. definitely sucked.

as stoners we have all fucked ourselves up at some point or another. im gonna keep this story short cuz im too stoned to write all details..

i was making a bong stoned with a few pals. we had a glass bottle n a drill press with a diamond tipped bit.. to dril a hole for the bowl.. anyways somehow the bottle blew up and mangled quite a few of my fingers and the palms of both hands had these massive gashes in them cuz the bottle was spinning like a top outta hell slicing anything that was near.

it didnt hurt until they stiched me up and they were healing. fuk my hands are still scarred to shit to this day.

o ya shit forgot to add that this wasnt my idea.. i just got hit in the crossfire .. another friend that was actually doing the drilling got the most damage. i stepped in cuz he was freaking out. he didnt know what to do..

I have had the same situation. I have cracked my head open twice. Split my chin and broke my jaw at the same time. Shattered my hand, broke my wrist, and all my fingers. Broke my knee and chiped my ankle. And finally shattered my elbow in a hockey game. But the most severe, long lasting pain was a muscle cramp in my right calf. It was spasming and I couldn't move my leg. It lasted a good 2 min. I tried to flex it to loosen it up and rub it, but nothing helped. And like the OP said, I too take vitamans to avoid such things again.

Oh and I also, accidentaly, threw a 4 inch rusty flat head screw driver into my ankle about 2 1/2 inches deep. But that still didn't top the muscle spasm.

I had been working 2 weeks straight without a day off, very little sleep and poor diet. For the few hours I was in bed, I stretched and all of the lactic acid was released and reaked havoc on my calf. I too was screaming and a tear was squeezed out.

Hmmm. I dunno if it was the worst pain I've ever been in, but it sure was fucked up. I ripped my ear lobe from the side of my head when I was little. I fell off a couch and somehow landed just right on the corner of this metal box and it ripped it off. It bled sooooo much. Maybe the worse pain I've ever had was, I was at an A7X show and I was right in the front. It started to get really crazy. Well I'm not that big. So of course I end up by all the fat, huge guys. Always. The crowd was swaying back and forth, it started to get worse. It swayed to the right, really hard this time and next thing I know, I'm under all these fat guys. I had so many people stuck on top of me. I couldn't breathe and I thought I was gonna get crushed. SOMEHOW my friend saw my arms sticking out, grabbed me and started to pull. He got all of me out except for my left leg. I was sideways and my leg was still straight under all these people. He pulled hard one last time and I felt my knee POP. I thought it came out of the socket. It was HORRIBLE. I was thankful that my friend helped me but holy fucking shit. When I finally got out of the crowd, I stood farther back where I thought I was safe. Well, some bitch pushed me over and I fell right on my knee. Of course I stayed for the rest of the show though. I wasn't gonna miss Coheed and Cambria, who played afterwards.

I went to the hospital the next day with my mom. It just so happened that the day we went was Mother's Day. Great way to spend it huh? They did xrays and everything and said I didn't break anything, but I definitely fucked something up. I couldn't walk for like a week. It still hurts quite often, but no where near how bad it did when it first happened.

Ive hurt myself in many ways, but probably the most painful experience ive had was pulling/combing out my dreadlocks. Odd how the leas tpainful sounding experiences ar ethe most, such as with this leg cramp people are getting.

Well, this was my fault kind of, but the worst pain that I've ever been in was when I got shot. I was 16, hiking around the woods in Arkansas during hunting season (I wasn't hunting, just hiking) with a white shirt. That's a really dumb thing to do. I heard some rustling about 100-150 feet off, and turn around, and all of the sudden there was this horrible pain all over my back. Some guy was out hunting for white-tail, mistook me for one because of my shirt, and shot me with a 12-gauge. It only hurt for a while, then I passed out (I have a pretty low threshhold for pain). I woke up in the hospital right as the doctor was administering my morphine, because they were going to take the pellets out. Passed out again, and woke up in the hospital bed, oped out of my mind. Wasn't really fun.

Nothing much really,

I guess burning myself on mushrooms hurt. At least the for the next few weeks while the burn marks pussed up, burst, then subsequently healed.

Other than that, nothing. Never broken any bones, never been in any accidents or anything like that. Theres the classic guy pain of getting my balls crushed by a girl, but every guy has experienced that.

i have no idea if i have posted before on this or not but i dont feel like checking. anyway, i broke my arm, shoulder blade, toe got sever'd (almost got cut off), broken fingers multiple times, dislocations. but my worst pain of all was when i fucked my other shoulder up.
it happened last june'ish. i was riding my dad's moped and i came flying down my driveway going about 50-60 and drove into the grass and tried to break. well breaking on a moped in the grass is basically like breaking on ice. the moped slid out from under me and i landed hard on my right shoulder. at first. the funny thing is, my dad was out smoking a cigarette and he saw the whole thing. the first thing he does is come running over, pissed off cuz i wrecked his moped and the first thing he says is "get off" as im on the ground lol. i didnt feel anything, but like 2mins later after it started to swell, i had the worst pain of my life.but the next 6 hours were terrible, terrible internal pain that i could do nothing about. i had to go to the E.R. and wait for god knows how long before i got treated. the doctors took x-rays and nothing was broken or dislocated. so they just gave me a sling and some vicodin and told me to go to the doctor if it doesnt get better in a few weeks. well its been, 8-9 months and it still isnt right. and for like 2-3 months after it happened, i would get muscle spasms on my injured muscle and those would hurt just as bad if not worse than the origional injury. i know something is wrong with it and im prolly gonna need to get it surgically repaired eventually. but until then im gonna smoke a lot of weed. and even afterwards.

I just remembered when I was little, I was at my cousin's house and it started pouring when we were outside, and we ran in. When I was running a piece of multch impailed my foot, went in, snapped, and came back out the other end. Long time of tweasing splinters and sticks out.

getting hit by a car.

i went up in the air, not sure exactly how high, i was in complete shock as the car hit the brakes and started screeching towards me, apparently, and i cant remember it, i jumped, crashed off the windshield & started spinning in the air, landed on the curb with a huge thud, everyone got out of their cars and called ambulances etc. as i was laying there covered in blood i was screaming as their was an unbelievable pain in both legs, i couldnt get up and couldnt shuffle against the wall, i thought id be in a wheelchair for life, luckily, because i jumped i saved myself and about 15 hours later i was able to walk with crutches.

its weird being hit by a car, when i was in the air it was peaceful, i could only see white, i was excited and was totally unaware id just been hit by a car, until i hit the ground

even now ive got problems with my legs though, nothing major but theirs certain parts that if i press on it'll be painful.

that and getting the glass removed from my head.
