The Worst day of my Life

The worst day of my life was October 26,2007. When my grandmother passed away. And heres the story.

Two years before october 26,2007 my grandmother fell to the floor because cancer had eaten away a bone in her leg. and a few days later me and my family found out that she had breast cancer. so we underwent surgery and kimo and we got rid of all of the cancer. But she had to stay on Kimo therapy for the rest of her life which was a drag. And about 2 months before October 2007 she had devloped a hole or some sort of problem with her digestive colon and went through surgery. and my grandmother was in a lot of pain from august through October.

oh and she smoked at least half a pack of cigarettes a day so i believe most of her health problems where due to that.

I feel very sad that she is gone because she is one of about 5-8 people that knew me for me and knew what i loved and hated. and knew how i tick and everything about me. She was one of the greatest ladies on earth. She would give her last nickel to anyone that needed it. she was always tring to make sure me and my cousins were happy and not fighting.
But I am also happy that she is gone and out of pain and hopefully with her husband Don. so i am feeling bitter sweet. But I know it was her time and she was in too much pain and needed to go and see her husband up there.

But sincer her death three things have gone through my family emotion wise.
1) me and my cousin David,tony and my brother dane are closer emotionally and talk every day and if not that the next day.
2) We all try and make life descions how she would of wanted us to act and try and not to disappoint her.
3) my aunt and my dad (he wasnt related to my grandmother) have been fighting over stuff. and i have sided with my aunt cause she isnt looking for the almighty dollar.

My grandmother was one of the nicest ladies ever.

sorry to hear that bro, its always hard when you lose loved ones but like u said atleaste she's not in any pain and your moveing on like i exspect she would have wanted.

but the two good things from this is she is finally at peace and not in pain .
and the other is i have never been this close with my aunts family before. which is great.

Im sorry for your loss dude, but i seems you learned a bit from her.

Sometimes from what I have seen, even the rought times we go through can pave the way for somethign positive to come out of it.

Remember the good times you had with her.She still with you in your heart and memories.

but the coolest quote i have and this is excat words cause i wrote it down not to forget it.
"Paul (my father) I dont understand how you expect E*** (my name) to give up pot when you made him move away from his friends (it was that or live on the streets i m poor) and you bring him away from his family and everything else he has known. how can you take away the last great thing in his life? "

she supported pot cause she was smart enough to know that it may not be her thing but she would let people decide on the way they want to live there life.
