Karma.....

well i just thought i would share my good karma story with you guys...i was in a shell the other day gettin an icee on my way home. well i was walkin up to the icee machine and saw a wallet layin on the ground. i picked it up and just looked in it out of curiosity reasons. well it had 40 bucks and a couple ones in it. i got my icee and gave it to the lady at the counter. well she was like " OH SO YOUR GONNA DIG ALL IN IT FIRST AND THEN HAND IT TO ME?!'' i was like look lady if i needed the money or even so much wanted the money i think i would have taken 40 and some odd bucks dont ya think... and she was just like oh and kinda mumbled somethin under her breath. i also didnt have a dollar to my name at this time and still dont. i was payin for my icee in change. i just hope if i lose my wallet one day karma will come back to me and someone will turn it in somewhere. just thought i'd share my li ttle story.

that happened to me once, found the wallet, looked at the ID for an address and took it to him.....he went into his house and came back out with 60 bucks (there was some money in the wallet, but didnt touch it) that was a good day......

but anyway, thats good that you returned it, good karma is headed your way for sure...

Peace.

If you kept the wallet, it's owner would be fucked.

Now, in situations like this, I've found that you have to look at both sides.

If you dropped your wallet, you know you'd be shitting your pants hoping it turned up somewhere, and on that premise alone, you shouldn't take the wallet.

In a perfect world I guess...huh

Me personally, I would have taken the cash and returned the wallet.

Yeah I woulda looked for an ID and an address and would have gone and given it to the guy. If there wasn't an ID in it or I somehow couldn't find the person..I'll admit I'd probably end up taking the money and returning the wallet, even though that probably isn't the right thing.

You did a good thing I remember awhile back I was standing in line at a store when the guy in front of me forgot his change like 10 bucks or so. So I take the money find the guy whose ready to take of in his car return it to him. So about two weeks later my friend is giving my a ride and as she pulls a U-turn I spot a bill lying against the curb, I jump out the car pick up the money and it was a 20 dollar bill. so good stuff is coming toward you my friend.
