Cops in my town on patrol for 4/20

I live in Davis, where I go to the University. I got the day off work, so last night I smoked an eigth and went out with friends. I crashed at my girl's house and this morning when I was waiting for the bus to go to my one class of the day, a cop passes, does a u-turn, gets out and approaches me. I'm on the phone with my mom talking about 4/20 because she smokes too. So I'm like "Hold on mom, a cop is here and wants to talk to me" and hung up.
He asked me if I was over 18 and I said yeah. He asked me what I was doing, where I was going. I said I was going to my class that starts at 1. I had just smoked 20 minutes earlier, and had my bubbler and 1/8 on me. He asks me to show him my UC student ID. I pull it out and show him the id and he hands it back, telling me he was a truancy officer looking for high school kids skipping school. I had come to the realization that my right leg was spasming and to say it simply, looked plain obvious that I was high. He asked me if I was nervous about something and I said "Uh no..." and he asked if I was on probation or parole and I said "absoulutely not officer".

He just said thats all I needed, have a nice day.

What I believe all that was about was that he wanted to have an excuse to stop me and interrogate me by saying he's checking for truant highschoolers. I don't look like a high schooler, I'm almost 20.

After my class, after the bus took off from campus heading home, all the busses on the road were stopped and checked by 3 cops, and nobody was sure what they were doing. Cops in Davis are patrolling hard on 4/20, and it sucks.

  • I smoke. If this bothers anyone, I recommend you look around the world in which we live, and … I don't know, shut your fucking mouth?

I know exactly how you feel....

i used to drive a car with a clutch, and my clutch foot would always shake when i got pulled over.

But the cop did nothing, just asked, and there is nothing wrong with stopping and asking, although it might be inconvienent.
