I'm sorry but that paragraph is full of fallacies. Psilocybin is NOT poison, and any dose is physically safe (don't overdo it though, because you will most likely be psychologically overwhelmed) Also do not try to pick your own shrooms unless you have an experienced guide/mycologist with you.
And LSD does not cause your body to dream while you are awake. (You're probably thinking of the psychedelic DMT, which is possibly one of the endogenous chemicals involved in the human sleep/dream cycle)
However I do agree with the last point, you should respect any type of psychedelic you use.
And trust me, change through psychedelics is a good thing; you will learn more about yourself and the world around you. Sometimes the bad trips can be the best when you look back at them and realize how much you learned through the experience.
