The story on how I got busted on school campus

Well anyways here is the story on how I got busted on school campus earlier today.

I was in my first block class which was Arc Welding Processes 2, the intercom switched on and the principal announced that the NARC team is coming to do a lock down and drug search. I sat there and laughed as I had so much confidence that I was totally clean. Two hours passed by without anything then we finally got word that the NARC team was coming to our classroom next, I started to sweat bullets then once I reached in my pocket and noticed some green shake in there. I also remembered that I smoked almost a quarter of some green the next before and I didn't even spray my jacket before school, Dumb mistake.

The team comes in and tells everyone to take off their jackets or sweaters and lay it on their desk. They also told us to take everything out of our pockets and put it in the palm of our hands and stand still. So through the first search I made it, I was happy. Then my teacher comes out the classroom after the NARC dog went in to smell. He calls a kids name called "Robert" they found black and mild tobacco in his pocket of his jacket. They let him go without any problems. Then my teacher comes out again and points at me and tells me to come in. So I walk in, they said the dog was going crazy over my jacket.

At this time, my heart dropped in my stomach. They told me to take off my shoes and empty my pockets. They searched me, still found nothing. They asked if I drove to school and I answered like a jackass "YES". They said okay, wrote down all my information (SS, DOB, NAME). Then moved on to the next classroom. About 30 mins later they call on the radio for me to come to my car. So I go out there and see two search dog SUV's and about 3 cop cars out there. By my car was a dog and about 3 officers waiting for me to unlock my car. I unlocked it for them and told them there was a pocket knife in the glove box then the search began, for the first few minutes they didn't find shit and I became pretty confident nothing was gonna happen then he opens up my JVC head unit carrying case and finds *I SWEAR TO GOD* a couple pieces of shake, not even enough to get high in a bowl. He yells out your under arrest, they hand cuff my ass then they told me all my rights and that bullshit. My principal being the dumb fuck he is asks for my pocket knife from the police officer and he says "Im gonna use this as evidence in the tribunal case". Obviously this fuck face wants me expelled, the cop says he wasn't gonna charge me for the "weapon" but my principal had to be a dick.

Skip an hour forward after I get processed in the liberty county police department system for the first time in my life, I then get transfered from the PD to the county jail where I spent about 10 hours sitting in my cell staring at the walls all day long. Sitting in that cell made me think TOO MUCH, way more then I could handle. I had so many mixed emotions, one hour I was mad, one hour I didn't care, the next two hours I was normal. It was crazy. I then finally got ahold of my brother who called my mom to get me out on bail.. which was $1,500.

Pretty much, I am still in the process of finding out if I'm gonna be expelled or not. Then I got court on Feb 2nd to find out my charges for sure.

It sucks, but it had to happen. Even though it feels like my life is going down the drain, i'll make sure it stays up. Sucks this had to happen on my 2nd semester of my senior year.. wow so close. :/ fuck life.


*CLIFFNOTES**
- NARCS came to school for lock down
- my jacket was flagged down, searched my car
- found barely .1g of MJ in my car and a pocket knife
- sat in county jail for over 10 hours, freezing to death and pissed off at the world
- mom finally answered her phone and got me out on bail for $1500

Go ahead and flame and laugh at me for my stupidity.

Just got back from the school and lawyer hunting, I talked to my principal and the school resource officer that arrested me. I found out that I am suspended OSS for 5 days and ISS for 5 days, with in that 10 day period I will recieve a tribunal letter to have a meeting with the board of education and my principals and from there they will decide whether or not I will be kicked from school, have to go to a alternative school, etc.


So what do you guys think will happen?

Will I get probation, community service hours, fines? License suspension?
Will I get expelled from school? Expelled from all the county schools?

I'm so confused and stressed out right now. I wish I could light up, it'd relieve all my stress right now

... i guess school property is different. i just thought about that. well, that is really unfortunate for u dude. i took herb to school everyday and blazed ever day at lunch, sometimes even in my classes (auto, guitar). let us know what state this is in.
they will probably give u some community service, i doubt probation or anything.
again i dont know what state this is so its hard to say.

georgia. thats where i was born man. bulloch county, statesboro. i lived in powder springs for a couple years, atlanta, macon and went to alabama for military school. i have never had a problem out there in my life. my dad on the other hand god busted with shit (speed) and pariphanalia and was supposed to do 10 years in prison. but of course hes the luckyest son of a bitch there ever was, so he served 2 years and got out because the prisons are so filled up. they are really strict on their drug policies out there, so i would do what OPIVY said and get a lawyer just in case. good luck dood. best wishes.

The reason why you got screwed over is cause you had stuff on you at school. You can never expect whats gunna happen. The principle was a dick, they can't get you on that. This should be a lesson for people to never carry at school.

Jesus man! That's crazy....now like 3 years ago I went to HS and was 18. When I was 15 I got busted with a pipe, a g of Blueberry, Some needles from my Diabetic friend since he needed me to hold them. And when I say honest to god I only got 4 days OSS ( off school suspension ) and 3 of those days was an extended weekend that they counted. All I had to do was attend a school rehab thing and they moved my classes around and put me into all new classes. THis sounds extremely weird....I can't imagine why they would press charges and all for less than .1g it's just weird. But none the less good luck man and theres always light at the end of the tunnel!

I can tell you one thing, you WON'T get expelled. I've known lotsa people who've been caught with with, even DEALING weed, and got caught with a fucking lot more .1 grams...more like 9 dimebags. He just got suspended for a semester...so I'm pretty fuckin sure you'll be alright with the school situation.

As far as the cops go, don't ask me, I have no clue.

First off we have the same court date! Well i go for further proceedings on the second for my shit!

You think 10 hours is bad, lol i wish i only got 10 hours.. thankfully i only had 6 days, that wasn't bad though..

For a first timer you wont get shit, i can't belive you had to pay bail, you shoulda got a sig bond, assuming you've never skipped court dates in the past.. oh well

Dont worry man everything will be ight, you will end up getting a fine and probo at the max..

Yes, they do, as stupid as it may seem. In the eyes of the police, THC is THC, no matter how much or little there is.

I have a friend who got arrested at school mainly for aving a screwdriver in his car that had some resin on it from scraping out a bowl. No actual weed or paraphernalia was in the car.

You just have to be very careful.

is there a sign on the outside of the school that reads "drug free school zone"?

in maryland there is NO TOLERANCE. if ur caught with a seed within 300ft (100yds) of the school grounds (in da ZoNe) youre fucked. that seed is no longer just a seed its possession inside a drug free zone. (some counties around here count firestations as drug free zones too ???) but anyways point is there is zero tolerance inside the zone, the penalties are a hell of a lot different then when NOT inside a drug free zone.

i used to have the MD state laws in school zones ill post them here to show the difference in penalties, its huge.
