they have every right to search you and every student/teacher inside of the school. this is rediculous and in fact should be illegal due to the fact that it denies high school students certain rights they are born with. the charges will be VERY minor due to the fact that it was your 1st time. i had 3 felonies and a possession charge and got 24 hours community service and 3 months probation. you will probably have even less than what i got. what you need to do is be more careful from now on and not bring stuff to school. you need to get a lawyer. and stop smoking b/c you probably will be randomly tested if you recieve probation.

also your principal is a dickhead

UPDATES ON MY TRIBUNAL WITH SCHOOL

Heres what happened

I got expulsion from my highschool BUT, I will be able to start alternative school on Tuesday and whenever I finish my courses there I will be able to attend the Bradwell Institute graduation ceremony and everything.. Even get the diploma there. Funny thing is, the cop believes I shouldn't be expelled. He said he can get the board of education to let me back in bradwell but under special conditions.. I have to come back as a undercover narcotics.. yes im serious.. and he'll give me money to buy drugs and if I make 5 buys from a dealer then i get a guaranteed court dismissed approval.

I dont think i'm gonna do that, I can't risk my safety down here and reputation. The dirty thing is the cop was like "you should do it, I know you know kids that smoke.. and you don't like them AT ALL, wouldn't that be great" Fucking dick. Anyways I start alternative school tuesday and i'll still be graduating 07!

I'm not taking the deal, I am staying true to myself. Thats just a basic moral I live by. Snitching is bad, really bad. People snitch and get fucked up for doing it down here. I know kids shot and beaten the fuck up for doing it. I'm not risking it.
