A Wisconsin Democrat Assemblyman turned to a Republican Assemblywoman in the middle of a legislative session Friday and said, "You are f--king dead."

Despite the following report from the Northwestern at 12:53 PM Monday, no major media outlet other than Fox News has covered this disgusting story

Is this the new tone of civility? Once again the MSM proves that "its ok when Democrats do it". Imagine if a Republican had said this. It would be on every station as proof of how backwards and extreme Republicans are.

This likely would have been the lead story for all three broadcast evening news programs as well as the focus of every hour of reporting on CNN and MSNBC with calls for Hintz's resignation.

But much like what happened at ABC's town hall meeting when a survivor of the Giffords shootings said "You are dead" to a Tea Party leader in the audience, our media clearly don't care when liberals publicly threaten conservatives.

Now this standard extends to a male Democrat elected official vulgarly assaulting a female Republican on an Assembly floor.

Makes one think it's journalism that's bleeping dead!

Don't want to get into politics here, and I would be the first to agree that the media is biased on both sides of the political spectrum; but do you really think Newsbusters.org is a viable unbiased news organization to be quoting as fact. Maybe the other news organizations would have ran with this, had it been a factual event, which I suspect it isn't.

Just something to consider.

Well, there were dozens of threads based on completely made up accusations of violence and extremism from the tea party/GOP. Especially after that shooting in Arizona. This is like the 5th Democrat to call for violence or make violent threats and like all the others its gone completely ignored by the same people who cried wolf before.

Maybe the other news organizations would have ran with this, had it been a factual event, which I suspect it isn't.

Here is something for you to consider. If you had actually read the article instead of replying emotionally, you would have seen that the story has been confirmed. The Democrat in question released an apology. I don't blame you though. Most of you play dumb until the MSM triggers your outrage for you.

You'll notice the article didn't actually print the exact quote. They sterilized it for the Democrat by leaving out the "you're fucking" part.

You do admit the mass media has a total double standard? They don't report this stuff when it comes from Democrats. They definitely don't make it their lead story for months and years like they do with Republicans/tea parties/conservatives/right wingers and these forums definitely don't get nearly as outraged.

Of course the MSM has a total double standard. It's as much their fault as is it the people's. They tell the people what the people want to hear. I won't be surprised if the double standard and reporting switches sides in the next presidential election. You might be able to get a better reaction by writing a blog, protesting, writing all of your representatives, volunteering for campaigns you believe in, passing out information on the street, etc etc etc.

I can understand his anger with the way in which the vote happened, but this is uncalled for. Be angry, but be civil, you're an elected official for fucks sake. I thought I was going to respect him because of his passionate rant last week, but now with this and prostitution scandal, I just can't do it.
