YouTube - Obama To Latinos: "Punish Our Enemies"

Can you imagine if Bush had said something like this? The media would play it over and over again. Much like they're showing Palin's target ad over and over. Can anyone tell me why the media isn't playing this clip ad nauseum? It seems pretty relevant, since the media and Democrats are so concerned about inflammatory rhetoric.

Sounds pretty crazy haha, but people will pass it off as "thats not what he meant", but we all know how the people hes speaking to took it. Too bad too, all he has to say is "that's not what i meant", or "i meant this", and hes off the hook. But the damage is done so to speak. Saying stuff like that just gets them angry and instills some very negative thinking and implies someone is evil / holding others down.

Wow, this news is SO old, I can't believe it hasn't been discussed on here before. Seems like someone hates all the negative attention their party gets, so they try and deflect the problem.

One side is just as bad as the other, picking a team and running with it isn't going to make you happy or accomplish anything.

Why isn't the media (and they're willing cohorts on the internet) upset about this, yet they're loosing it over a 10 month old Palin ad about targeting districts for elections?

Who cares what the propaganda machine err.. I mean main stream media has to say? They are just following an agenda to push a certain point of view down your throat. Any stories they cover are hand picked for a reason.

You're missing the point. You have a lot of passion for political awareness(which I think is awesome) but instead of trying to make this country a better place, you're just worried about making the "other side" look worse than your side and it isn't doing anyone any good.

Where's the violent part? Oh wait, there is none. He CLEARLY was referring to punishment through the electoral process by voting against republicans who oppose immigration policies like the dream act. Am I watching Fox news right now or is this a joke?

I don't think hes trying to make the other side look worse. The fact is a majority of news outlets and channels on tv are pro left and its obvious. But to the people who are fed news through these outlets, that isn't something they even notice or realize (over their heads). All tv was about was anti bush (except fox), and since Obama's election its been, all pro Obama, or rather have been very sympathetic with him on things that, had bush done them, there would be an outrage.

At first glance, it may look like hes trying to play sides, but hes merely pointing out the largely one sided MSM which happens to affect a lot of people and shape their opinions. Sure republicans and democrats are the same, but that doesnt change the fact that the mainstream media is very much leaning towards one side of the spectrum and is "winning" so to speak as far as getting out a message that will make their side feel threatened / oppressed / whatever and having MSM on their side when in reality they are nothing less or more than the previous administration.

Are you serious? Let me get this straight. Telling a mob of racists to "punish your enemies" isn't inciting violence, but putting cross hairs on districts you hope to win in an ad is?

Neither Obama or Palin are guilty of incitement to violence or murder...

But they are both guilty of playing to their audience...
