Shit, people are talking about him like he's been running this country for yeeears. He hasn't even been in office for a year yet, and people are jumping all over his shit for every-single-thing and then cheering (?) when something goes wrong. It's the most craziest fucked up thing i think i may have ever seen. A wise man once said "This is what happens when political discourse becomes a football game."

Re: Obama Backlash Begins

I think it's funny how everyone who was jumping around singing change change! is dead silent now. He said he'd shut down Guantanamo bay his first day in office, nope. No new taxes for people earing under 150,000 yearly, nope. He preached so much about how he'd abide by the constitution and wouldn't pass any decieving bills or laws like Bush did, nope. Passed a couple bills on the bailout with hundreds of pages missing, and reps were forced to sign at early morning hours. The list goes on... But the bottom line is that it wouldn't really have mattered who was elected, things are pretty much destined to stay on track until we opt for more change ourselves. Presidents are selected not elected anyways

There were huge protests and Bush inauguration with some of the most hateful vitriol you've ever seen. Why do you guys think Obama gets a different set of rules? Hes done a lot in a year to be pissed at him for, if you're a free market capitalist who wants the country to stay that way.

Corzie had EVERY reason to win and even had Obama out stumping for him. Obama's numbers on health care are way down and his approval is dropping fast.

LOL...... We have a Bush birther folks! I suppose he somehow stole it again in 2004?

You're a great example of the double standard when it comes to crazy people in politics. Every single crazy gets a spotlight on them when they're Republicans, but you can beleive all kinds of crazy shit as a liberal democrat and novody bats an eyelash.

You should look into how presidential elections are run in this country. They amount of accountability is similar to the amount they have in Afghanistan and Iran. The only difference is that we get nice big boards with big flashy colors on our big screen televisions so we believe that our elections are legitimate.

Also, what is a "Bush birther"? Is someone who says that the Supreme Court decided the election of 2000 a "Bush birther"?

Bush was called illimitable every single day until the very day of 9/11.

Obama and the psyco-dems should have known that the public would turn against a radical agenda being rammed down our throats. It don't matter if it is radical left or right, most people don't want it.

Are you better of now than you were 12 months ago? HELL NO!!!

If the American people decide to throw out the democrat congress in 2010 Obama will be a lame duck. He will not be able to pass any of his radical socialist crap with out radical socialist support.

Of course we don't know how some manufactured crisis will effect the next two elections but with any luck this current crop of jack-holes will be eliminated and socialism in America will suffer a major setback. That's the best I can hope for.

Re: Obama Backlash Begins

Obama just needs to stop making brain eating robots, but I realize if he did that and catered to the few actual human beings he would lose all his supporters and never be reelected... hell if he did that there would never be another election.

Could very easily be so.

The people who run the world aren't stupid.

They just don't give a fuck.
