Regardless of whether or not you agree with what he has done you must acknowledge that he has accomplished a lot in his term thus far. I disagree and you havent proven differently.

The Nobel "Peace" prize. Not only does it say that Obama is a peaceful man, it says that he should be following a peaceful doctrine for his presidency.

Nevermind that when he won it, he had not been president for even a year and has not accomplished even half of what he wants, they decided he was the winner in April. He really had done nothing accept for the "closing" of GBay and I think the stimulus passed too.

Its obvious it is a political move, and I have a feeling of remorse for him winning this award, because it will probably come back to bite him.

Some have claimed he won the peace prize for his "work on nuclear proliferation," but I'd like to see what "work" he actually accomplished. Signing a piece of paper doesn't count as "work" in my book and it definitely doesn't deserve an award.

So he signs an agreement to reduce America and Russia's nuclear stockpile by 1/3? Is that really an accomplishment. Now the US and Russia can only destroy the world 3 times over instead of 20. If a nuclear war broke out, the slightly fewer number of nukes would not make a difference. All the while, North Korea continues to pursue nukes. Is this supposed to be progress?

You realize by that logic, it's pointless to hand out a peace prize at all since there's not world peace.

You show me someone who not as the leader of the free world, but mearly a member of a legislature, who has worked to reduce nuclear arms and been succesfull at it?

Thats a pretty big accomplishment, even if there's more work to do.

It would be hard for me to award Obama a peace prize knowing full well that the military that he is in charge of kills people every single day.

I understand why he was awarded the peace prize, but one right does not bring back the lives of hundreds of innocent civilians that have died under Obama's command. Giving a military leader a peace prize is a little ridiculous, especially considering we're still at war.

obama is the commander in chief of two very different "wars" where people die every day (whether or not they are bush's wars is irrelevant, they are his wars now so dont bother

but because he wants to reduce our nuclear weapons (we have plenty to spare) he deserves the highest award for bringing peace to the world?
