it is racist because the ruling was reversed. the new haven fire department did not break the law, judge sotomayor was wrong to throw out the results of the test, and the only reason she did it is because it did not favor blacks or hispanics.

i mean come on dickie if this was the other way around you would be screaming racism and you know it, please show everyone at gc that some pieces of good information can penetrate your screen of ignorance.

I hate to give you the "out of context" line, but really, those quotes from his book and the "typical white person" comment are cropped the fuck up. Do you honestly, truly believe they're in context?

What is so racist about that? A poor choice of words, but taken out-of-context nonetheless. He's saying she is a typical white person who might clutch her purse when people of a different race walk by her on the street. Hardly a sweeping indictment of whites.
