But his approval ratings are still much higher than the House and Senate Republicans. There is auotmatically like 50% of America against him anyway... His approval ratings are going down because he has been to conservative and middle of the road and the American people want real reform and change in America. If he gets Universal Healthcare with a single-payer public option, his approval ratings will go up. If he keeps not blindly throwing money at military projects, his approval ratings will go up. If he gets rid of Dont Ask Dont Tell, his approval ratings will go up. If, and this a BIG if, he starts to end America's imperial foreign policy, He will be re-elected in a landslide victory. Basically what im saying is so far Obama has been a letdown for lefties like myself, but recently ive seen some hopeful signs that maybe he'll get his act together. Wishful thinking? Probably.
It all comes down to the economy. Most Americans don't care much about increased debt and (stupid) stimuli, they care about results. If unemployment drops (unlikely to happen anytime soon even if what he does somehow works) and we see some real positive signs, he'll pick up points. If things continue to deteriorate or even just hold steady, he's going to keep losing support.
Shit its not even a year into his presidency. At the rate he's going he'll be lower than Bush by the end of his term.
If he was as smart as everyone claims he is he would have let Hillary take the job and the bullet...lol. and come in like mighty mouse in 2012. The Fed cant hide the massive upcoming inflation cycle thats going to make this look like happy days. Be careful about what you want...you might get it.

I don't see how his approval ratings could get any better. I mean look at it logically - his approval ratings will be highest in the firstmost part of his term when nobody really has any way of assesing his worth. Now that he has been in office for a while people will find fault with him and, of course, his approval ratings will drop... It makes a lot of sense....

Obamas digging himself into a ditch. People are finally starting to realize his agenda, and also his lies to the American people. If national healthcare does pass his ratings will go down even more. He's trying to pass it as fast as he can, just like his "stimulus" package.
If you're talking about his speeches, he actually does write most of his major ones. He's charismatic, there's no way around it.

Dude you never make any sense... start makin' dollars. America wasn't built over night either, it is actually one of the longest lasting democracies. Though after Obama stepped into office it does seem over night it is turning into a socialist state. You really think he is making progress on the international stage? With who? The citizens of other countries or the leaders? If a puppet master is incontrol of our president, i'd be willing to bet my left nut they have control of most major political leaders. Then again, i don't think America really needs to make any progress on its "image". I think we've upheld our image for quite some time and if our image is that easily forgotten, i'm scared for this country. Oh wait, you still realize we are the safest country to put money in.
