They loved him, they adored him, they promoted him, they called him god.

He was an unknown who gave a speech at the democratic national convention four years earlier and then all the sudden he is president and running everything in to the ground.

actually now that i think about it that was a pretty good situation our ruling class came into. even if they freed the slaves and gave rights to other races, they were still pretty much slaves... just with enough freedom that they can't complain!

Once again, I have to wonder...what are these disadvantages that you speak of? Are minorities less intelligent than whitey? I doubt that. Are you guys aware that grants are handed out to minorities just like whites? At Grambling State University, an "African American" earning a low grade on a test can have his/her letter grade raised so that they can compete with higher ranking students. I don't hear anyone calling THAT racism even though white students can't have that done. I was eating at a restaurant yesterday where several "African Americans" were discussing their 100,000k/year businesses. No doubt, they worked to achieve what they got. In this country, you get what you work for. Unfortunately, ignorance is fed to younger generations by the older members of the minorities who actually WERE exposed to unfair conditions. Times have changed and they can put these things behind them now, but they don't. Their ignorance is the source of their hate, and it is the reason that corrupt polititians like Obama get into office.

Anyone who actually works for a living instead of crying for a handout can see that we are on an equal playing ground now. Only those who don't get their handout are the ones crying out about racism. Have you people forgotten that although whites held Africans in slavery, it was other white people who set them free? The wound has been healed, and yet minorities keep re-opening it.

You do realize the word 'ghetto' doesn't mean 'a deprived area where black people live' it's a word that has been used for a LONG time to describe an area, usually economically deprived, where a large population of an ethnic group lives. The Italians, Irish, Polish, Jews, etc. were ALL thrown into ghettos when they came here. It's the responsibility of the people who live in these ghettos to change and to push forward in getting out. I am not saying that blacks do not attempt this because there are A LOT of blacks who do want out, who do push forward and who do want to end the counterproductive lifestyles that many people live in these areas. I am also the first to admit that many of the policies and laws in this country are hurting the movement to get out of the ghettos - these are evident in the ridiculous disparity in crack cocaine laws vs. regular cocaine laws which targets high use populations, but just as equally the abuse of the welfare system and free housing, etc. In many respects it is the government vs. the ghettos, but the point I'm trying to make is that it always has been.

It's up to the people who are deprived to do something. The blame game gets you nowhere. Those 'white' people are all of different ethnic backgrounds and struggled much like the African, Hispanic, Jamaican Americans today. To blame 'white America' just is not fair because every white person isn't the same just as every black person isn't the same. Take Obama, the 'savior,' he lived a VERY privileged life and it is evident to me he is about himself, not helping 'his' people, let alone the American people. We are all Americans, whether we are white, black, or purple and we all have a responsibility to strive for greatness and live the best lives we can. If someone feels as though they shouldn't live up to that, that's fine, regardless of race, blaming and complaining does nothing. Pushing forward, adapting, and rising to the top is the American way, but it is quickly turning into 'what can I get for free.'

Who do you think govern those poor black slums?

Primarily DEMOCRATS and liberal ideology.

They love to keep blacks poor so they can more effectively use class warfare and keep them in their pockets.

The elites wanted to break down the family and their campaigns seem to always target blacks first.

Who do you think skyrocketing energy prices will hit the hardest?
