For someone that wasn't even allowed to be present at their own party convention, I'd say its pretty cool he got onto even 1 state ballot.

Considering the scorn he received from everyone in the media and his own party, his primary results and fundraising is impressive too.

Once Obama destroys the dollar and everything Paul has predicted comes to pass, he, or someone like-minded, will have a much better chance in 2012.

There will be so many people in the hostipals that the wait will be even longer than it is now. With universal heath care also comes more taxes because who is going to pay for it besides tax payers.

Let me get this straight. Your issue with universal health care is that our taxes are going to go up (even though the cost of health care goes down more than taxes are raised) and the line is longer? Are you aware of what a community is? It's where you help the other people around you and they help you. So you don't want to shell out a few extra bucks each time taxes come around, or wait in a line at a hospital, but you're fine with people dying or living in pain because they can't get the health care they need? Under Obama's plan (which it seems obvious you haven't even read for yourself) insurance premiums will decrease by $2,500 on average. Saving Americans much more than they would have to pay in tax increases.

Get the facts before you post. Actually, you should have had the facts before you voted. Luckily, it didn't matter and the right man is in the office.

For all the Ron Paul supporters. What in god's green goodness makes you think he'd do a half decent job as president? Look at his proposals, they will all fail. There's a reason no government on earth is based on the individual over the commonwealth. The only people who would vote for Ron Paul would do so out of greed. Not to mention, even if someone like Ron Paul got elected, congress would never take him seriously and we would have a 4 year stalemate on our hands. Obama is the right man for the job. If, in 4 years, he's killed our country, then you can say 'I told you so.'

But that isn't going to happen.

Being the champion of the Constitution, he knows the rightful role of the Federal government and especially the Executive branch's powers. More power would be given to the states and back to the people. Competition of democracy would prevail.

What proposals? Have you researched the alternatives to coercive state social programs? Private charities and organizations that operate at a profit and compete will arguably be better than our current disastrous health and education systems. The US is too big to operate functioning social programs like the tiny states of Europe. History will show that efficiency gets lost in a bureaucracy this big.

In the end the government is sanctioning monopolies that destroy competition worldwide, and forcing the consumer to accept a product below their demands.

sure, Ron Paul isn't on the road to socialism kind of people but we need him for the time like right now. He wants to get rid of the FEDS, get rid of medical insernce, bringing the american dollar back to it's value. Draw all the troops from middle east out, and the rest of the world.
He knows that spreading the military around the world will make America weak. Right now, we got 130 military bases around the world. We are paying to maintain the "Empire." which it does not work at all. If no countries don't want us then why are we in their territories? it seems that we are trying to control them. no?


Obama is going be like every other president in history. everybody voted him cause he black. I BET! anyways, He still wants war in middle east, He may spent more then 800 billion dollars in his 4 years based on his new simulate plan.... (can't find the source)
