I hope judges all over the country take notice of this, as this needs to change in every state. Because that's exactly what we're living in, one big police state. The problem is, for every judge like this one, there are 20 who are corrupt, and accepting cash in their private chambers in exchange for handing out harsher sentences for lame crimes in order to keep the private prisons full. That's awesome. It's nice to hear of an honest judge. God bless that man. The judge called it a "judicially sanctioned extortion racket". Harpersville Municipal Court is not the only court to perpetrate an extortion scheme.
