Time has come to see who will be 2009's WSOP Main Event winner.

Action just started and will be playing down to 2 players then head to head play resumes on Monday night. An edited 2 hr version of the final 9 can be seen on ESPN Tuesday.

Shulman, Cada, Ivey, or Akenhead winning would be great for poker, Ivey obviously being the best case scenario.

I'm happy with any of those 4 taking it down, aslong as Darvin Moon doesn't win.

I'm such a Phil Ivey fanboy it's ridiculous. I really hope he wins. Anyone see that hand where someone raised preflop with 10/7 suited and Ivey reraised with 6/2 (or 6/3 I can't remember) offsuit.

Ivey was first to act and pushed All In w/ A K.

Darvin Moon called with A Q.

Darvin Moon hits a Q on the flop to pair his Q.

Cards on the turn and river help neither player.

Begleiter out in 6th place..

Beigleter raises to $1.6 million preflop w/ QQ. Moon re-raises all in (40 mil) with AQ offsuit. Beigleter INSTA-CALLS with $25,000,000.

Moon sucks out on the river and hits an Ace. Beigleter is out, Moon is once again chip leader with 65 mill

Moons play has been all over the place.

Cada raises pre-flop, Moon pushes all in, Cada insta calls. Cada has AA, Moon has K 9 OFF SUIT. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

And he lost a hand finally. 9 came on the flop but no miracle cards on the turn or river this time. Pot was 61,000,000 I believe.

Antes are at 400k/ 800k

9 on the flop cracks the 7's

9 Q 2 on the flop.

K on the turn.

5 on the river.

After Cada moves all in with 2 2 preflop, Saout calls with Q Q and Cada comes from behind and hits a 2 on the flop to double up through Saout.

Then shortly after,

Cada opens the pot up to 2,500,000 with A K and Saout reraised all in with 8 8. Cada called.

The flop came: 5 4 5

Turn is a 10 and THE KING comes on the river. Wow.

Sout finishes 3rd.

Its down to heads up play.(resumes Monday night 10pm EST.)
