Ok, I posted this on the range rover forum but I wanted to see what y'all thought. Hey everyone I am brand spanking new but I have been looking into adding some accessories to my car, let me know if this is what you guys recommend in buying and how it would look ect. My Range is dark grey.

1.) Black Tail Light Covers

http://www.amazon.co...aw/d/B001ELWO6M

2.) Black Side Markers

http://item.mobilewe...Id=190673171539

(These look super dark... Maybe it's just the picture but others I've seen look more smokey and not just plain black, will the functionally still be okay? I mean will people still be able to see the amber light blinking?)

3.) Black Rims

http://www.wheelsnex...|Black Lip.html

I like these rims but I really haven't looked all that much. Any suggestions that would look good on my dark grey range? Also when I purchased my car the dealer just put a new set of tires on the car and the rims I want are going to be 22 inche so will I have to buy new tires or can a shop somehow fit them? Because the tires I have now are nice and rather expensive so I would like to keep them on there.

Anyway, all suggestions and help will be much appreciated

Thanks

Post a pic example of the car, that would be helpful. I would say look more into rims im not digging them personally. They look too cheap to put on a Range Rover.

And what size rims are coming on the car? That will make all the difference to distinguish wether or not the tires will fit new 22's.

Thats very clean, i would absolutely smoke out the tail lights and side markers. Guess rims always comes down to preference.
oh and tires go by the inch, so no you need new tires.

I appreciate it and I do plan on at least doing the tail lights and markers but the problem is the tires the dealer put on cost $2500 so I mean what a waste and about the markers do you think they come that's blacked out? Or is it just the picture? Because I've seen other ones that are just smoky.... Do you think them being that black will ruin the functionality?

Honestly I would recommend you go to a window tinting shop. That way you can pick the tint with your own eyes, plus they can install it correctly for you. Its the way to go as ive always heard.
And the tires id say post them on craigslist asap and hope you get a bite by the time you wanna pay for new rims and tires.

So would they just take my markers now and tiny them? That's kinda dumb because the Casing is amber and the lights are actually white on the inside so I would have to replace the lights to amber so I'm thinking the dark ones will be fine and if they don't work ehhh I mean it's only side markers they'll still look awesome and By The Way do you think $100 on those black tail light covers is a good deal?

Oh well i see if they are amber and you want them smoked clear then ya that would work. Then get those i guess :). I dont know if the tail light covers fit good or you can find other people saying good things about them then go for it. I would just be weary cause theres allot of cheaply made BS out there.
It may fit like crap, youd might be able to get away with it on a cheap import but on a Rover no way.

Yea see these are not as black but smoked

I would prefer the blacker ones if they still functioned and I understand that they might not fit kinda sucks lol but that's what you get with a range lol expensive times more expensive

I take it back also the brand of tail light you posted is the same as the third brake light cover above. Thats the GTO brand, I didnt realize that. If your going to buy a removable cover as oppose to professionally tinting it, GTO is absolutely the way to go! Thats the good brand.

So in other words buy that shit! lol

I'd suggest accessorizing with a spare Toyota Land Cruiser. You know, for when your Rover does what Rovers always do.......strand you somewhere.

Haha alright I think I will but the only reason I'm not getting it professionally done is what If one day I wanna sell it and there like what the hell did you do lol haha so this way it's removeable

Also, I don't know if this would work or not but I figure it would and would save me money and I wouldn't have to get new tires cause my rims I have now don't look bad I just think there too small for the body of a range anyway maybe I could get them powder coated black? Think that would work and do you have any idea how much it would cost?

I'm sorry to keep bothering you but you have been a big help :) and I thank you for that but actually I was looking at these 20" rims that land rover actually puts on their cars http://item.mobilewe...Id=380431394346
Even though my tires are to my 19" rims can they shave It down or something to fit just one more inch cause it's kinda ridiculous to spend that much money on an inch lol

No you cant do that. Cant mess around with tires, they are probably the single most important component to your safety when driving.

Here your recommended tire sizes per wheel size:
Rec. Tire Size w/ 19" wheel:255/50-19
Rec. Tire Size w/ 20" wheel:275/40-20
Rec. Tire Size w/ 22" wheel:285/35-22

The first number is your tires width, second is tire height, and the third is wheel size. You can play with wider tires and tire height but you always have to stick to what size rim you have.

Your best bet if changing rim size is selling your wheels and tires, either separate or together.
